We just spent a night at Waterton Lakes Lodge as options are limited due to Covid. The entire ‘resort’ is very dated ,the rooms are large and very clean though. Huge bathroom too by hotel standards. The hallways in our particular building/block (Red Rock)were dirty especially the carpet ,I tried NOT to look too closely. As I mentioned the room itself was clean ,though really drab/dark and dated. We love Waterton though,so looked at it as a place to sleep..and we slept very well, possibly due to a long days beautiful hiking in the perfect sunny weather!

We needed a short break from the realities of life in the times of COVID so booked a 3 night stay at Waterton Lakes Lodge Resort in a Kigd Deluxe room. Our room was clean, the bed comfy, and the washroom good for 2 people. Due to current regulations, there were no extras in the room (tourist info brochures, paper/pens, , coffee maker etc) but that was expected. The staff was helpful and explained that there would be no housekeeping services for the duration of our stay but that if we needed anything they would bring it to us right away. The booking process directly with the hotel was straight forward but the email confirmations were very bizarre. A quick phone call got it straightened out but if we'd been coming from further away it would not have been as easy to sort it out. It seems their automatic email generator is faulty and must be fixed but their IT folks are unable to do anything about it. I find this very hard to believe!

Great place to stay. Vimy's was an awesome restaurant! The chocolate covered strawberries and wine were delicious! Nice and quiet in the off season. The hot tub and pool are dated but still nice. All of the staff were very helpful for ideas of what to do.

Was an average stay. Nothing over the top. Nothing bad to say. Given the time of year nothing is open so you spend a lot of time with each other we got to relax and reconnect with each other Could be few more options of things to do in the rec centre ie board games or cards. Group activities for all to participate

Great place to stay!

The Lodge, facilities and staff were great. The only thing missing was an exercise room or gym. It used to have one. I wish it were restored. But other than that, it was great. We visited in the off-season. It's a great time to visit. But be prepared for changable weather. It can be sunny and warm one minute and snowing and blowing the next. The Lodge doesn't have any control over Mother Nature. But the Lodge itself was great. We have been visiting this business every February or March for a number of years and it has never let us down.
