I was very lucky to find something available at the last minute. I had a chance to order from their restaurant as well as go around the town. The only thing I did not enjoy is that I did not get a tub. Other than that, I was very happy with my stay!

Well what a sad “resort” it’s clean, however. It’s tired, sleepy in need of serious updating. Stained carpets, grabbed a sheet from the house keeping cart to cover the couch and the list goes on. Priced at 191 a night for king room which was small. Wifi was horrible. I suggest look for another place.

The lodge is a series of multi unit cabin structures. You have to hump your luggage to your room from the parking adjacent to your cabin as there are no trolleys or valet service. The door on our unit was saggy and hard to open and close. This was quickly rectified by the desk clerk who had the maintenance person fix it immediately. Our room was clean and comfortable with amenities provided, soaps, etc. Shower and bath was good. Pressure and water volume adequate for a refreshing shower. There was no complimentary breakfast provided.

Cozy rooms with jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces inside. Walkable to everything in Waterton Township. Comfortable and clean rooms. Easy check-in/out. Easy parking. Need to add ice machines (only way to get ice was to go up to the front desk in another building). Units are located in separate buildings throughout the property. No elevators to second floor rooms.

WARNING!! We stayed for 2 nights and was charged a total of $901.68 versus what I should have been charged per my conformation/reservation of $641. I'm due a refund/credit of $260.08 and have called twice (span of 4 days) regarding this and the response is that I was charged additional for having a pet which is incorrect. I was there with my family (wife and two little kids) and we have never had any pets in our life. Both times I was told they have my details and manager would call back and have not heard back and the 2nd time the staff hung up on me abruptly. This is very disappointing as we loved our stay there and was looking forward to future visits but the incorrect/fraudulent charge of $260.08 with no concrete support to back up or follow up offsets the good memory we built there. We will pursue the fraudulent charge but wanted to live this warning to everyone.
