I have stayed at Hidden Ridge many times over the years and it's always been a favorite. This time friends and I stayed in a 2 bedroom loft suite which was plenty of room for the 5 of us to have out own space and areas to hang out together. Room was clean, beds comfortable, shower had lots of pressure (love the bath products at all Banff Lodging Co properties), and the staff is always great. The hot pools are one of the main reasons we come back. Since I didn't have my dog this visit I finally took advantage of the included Roam transit passes to downtown (a stop right at Hidden Ridge and busses are clean)

Fantastic location, but the property is quite dated and shows signs of wear and tear. The carpets are stained, maintenance isn't great, and cleanliness could definitely be improved. The hot tub is so small it gets overcrowded, making it unappealing to use. Additionally, the large pool is cold, so no one really goes in that one either.

Nice room and hot tub and good views ! Hotel manager very kindly rectified a problem I had earlier this year and ensure that this was a fabulous visit. I was very impressed and appreciated that the conscientiously acknowledged a previous mistake and corrected it with a great room! I’d return!

First the positive things - great desk staff, the views, free bus pass to downtown, outside hot tub, free firewood for in room fireplaces. The negatives were- very dirty rooms (there was everything from dirty bed sheets, spiderwebs, dirty walls.... I could go on and on. It was pretty gross. Things were broken in the room. No attention to detail. No pride of ownership.... just want your money.

The location is great nice rooms with fireplaces unfortunately not very clean ..housekeeping did not wipe counters stovetop vacuum or wash floors..mold on the bathroom ceiling bathroom sink needed a good scrub.the top of the dishwasher had inches of dirt I think they just replaced towels..the hot tub was lovely at times but the staff allowed drinking alcohol and intoxicated and rowdy guests swearing and yelling even though signs said this was not allowed..very unpleasant for families with children I don't believe they have a liquor license so probably illegal also but no one cared
