Housekeeping came everyday and did a thorough clean. We were there 4 days, which left lots of time to enjoy the hundred year old hotel. Even the lack of an elevator didn’t bother us. We will definitely go back…
Best location in Jasper!!!

It has the BEST location in town, a fantastic restaurant; O'Shea's, with the best breakfast in town, and the lounge is a great spot to have dinner and watch hockey. The rooms are always clean and the bedding is wonderful for a great night's sleep in the mountains. We always receive top-notch service from everyone in the hotel.
Our last trip was unusual as I ended up in the hospital and we had to extend our stay. The management team, front desk, and everyone working in the hotel were aware of the situation and couldn't do enough for us. Special thanks to Darcy, Murray and Blair for their concern, care and support. We can't thank them enough.
We will continue to make the Athabasca Hotel our home in Jasper with our family.

It manages to be a first-rate modern hotel and at the same time retain a deliberately old-school elegance. It's worth staying for the lobby alone, which is like a museum of taxidermy. I first stayed here 25 years ago – it's been updated since then but has lost none of its authenticity. A great place!

It's like time travel. Plus fast internet, free parking, good location close to bakeries and outdoor shops at a decent price. Recommend!
