However room 246, pet friendly, was missing a closet door, couch was full of dog fur, paint cracking and chipping in bathroom and the caulking to the tub/tile wall needs to be looked at. I would love to give the stay a 5 star but with the room condition we couldnt.
Restaurant had lovely food, minimal draft beer options, lounge had a great atmosphere and the wood burning fireplaces everywhere made for a pleasant experience.

Beautiful mountain getaway.

The staff are super friendly and great at making your stay amazing. We love the atmosphere at the main lodge. The food at the restaurant and the lounge is excellent. The hot tub outside is well worth using with the beautiful views. We like to cross-country ski on all the trails around the lodge area.

Best experience ever!

And honestly, we could not have had better weather for my daughter's outdoor wedding! <3 My wish is to come back in the summer when I can experience the unfrozen lake and all amenities of Emerald Lake Lodge.

It is comfortable and cozy but you are paying for location and the upkeep of a historic property. Don't go expecting bellboys to carry your luggage or marble bathrooms. You go there for the privilege of sleeping in a bed in a spectacular location in the wilderness.

There is no WiFi or tvs in the room, so I appreciated the time to really disconnect from our busy life. Beautiful location, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. The club house was a great feature too that included heated concrete around the hot tub. Would love to stay again!
