Family vacation at Lac Louise

We stayed at Lake Louise Inn to visit the Lake Louise area in July. We thought we would be much closer to the lake itself when we booked, it's not that close. This "motel type" accomodation has a nice pool in the main building (if you're not in the main building then it is not super convenient to walk there) and it rents bikes for free which was nice. The staff was very friendly. The room has no air conditioning which is a big negative. As a family we found this room very tiny and a bit suffocating. Early in the morning you can hear other customers leaving their rooms (banging the doors, etc) and since your windows are open because there is no air conditionning you can hear every noise. I would not recommend this hotel unfortunately, considering it's high price.

Ugly and dark, how disappointing.. we were treated nice in the hotel.. but this restaurant is very VERY dissapointing.. you will , like us come down to eat, but they will return you because they have like 6 tables and you gave to wait 45 minutes to get a table.. That's OK we are in vacation, but would have appreciated to be warned.. Ok the food gets here ; steak who was supposed to be the best of the west turns out to be a dry piece of tire. Pffffff .my spouse plate is the same, WITHOUT ANY TASTE, VERY LOW QUALITY PRODUCT...never had a meal like that... So the hotel is nice, the staff is great, BUT THE RESTAURANT LEGENDS IS DISCUSTING...it brings the hotel down.. the two girls ate trying their bedt, but you will WAIT A LOT!!! NOT coming BACK Because of the horrible food we were served...

Wonderful experience

We did not have reservations for the evening and just stopped that night. They were very accommodating as we requested a room on the first floor. The Legends restaurant was awesome. The biggest issue was having no air and the windows had to be opened. You could hear the train throughout the night but they did provide earplugs if you needed. Highly recommend!

It was all over a great hotel/resort. Very nice ambience. Nice newly renovated rooms. Very modern, classy design. Lack of air condition makes it a little uncomfortable. The beds are very nice. Plush sheets and nice to have an accessible patio on each room. TV is huge and a smart TVs a plus, although you won’t really be able to enjoy the full features of the smart TVs due to being centrally controlled/limited by hotel services. Pet friendly approved.

Lake Louise Inn Doesn't Disappoint

We booked a stay at the Inn because we had been there before and knew it was a great place. It was a hot time, with lots of forest fires (distant) making much of the surrounding areas smokey, but the area right around Lake Louise/Bow Lake where we spent our time was relatively smoke-free. The Inn has everything you might need, including a pool, exercise room, hot tubs, and several restaurants. There is no AC, but they provide much needed fan(s).
