Overall pretty good with a few minor changes needed.

The check in experience was really good. Super friendly, they gave me a free upgrade to a suite and they even called to see how my room was after I arrived. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. After a big day of snowboarding, I was really looking forward to sitting in the hot tub to relax. Unfortunately the water was not hot, warm at best and the tub could use a few more inches of water. I would sit against a jet and water would splash into my face and ear and I couldn't hear the person next to me. Also, the towels at the pool/hot tub and especially in the room need to be replaced. They are scratchy at best, something I would expect from my gym, not a hotel.

Excellent, friendly and informative staff who calmly sorted any questions. The room was very spacious and had a large bathroom. The evening meal and breakfast was excellent with a wide choice on the menu, at a reasonable price and service was very good. Our only concern was only to be staying for a short period of time. Thank you.

The Crimson is nice enough, though compared to other places we’ve been to, quite pricey for what you get. The rooms are big, comfortable and have good bedding. Some more seating would be good to just relax when you get back to the room. It feels slightly tired and in need of a do-over, and it’s just a little bit out of the centre. The train noise is a bit distracting at first but you get used to it. The team were absolutely lovely though, and Terra restaurant was outstanding. So it’s fine, but nothing to shout home about.

Aman the Manager ensured we were happy when we left. Great customer service & ensured we left happy with our stay.

Upon arrival, my son was charged in full for one of my rooms I reserved. The front desk reversed this upon check out. Our fridges did not work upon a late 10:30pm check in. Maintenance was gone and security attempted to check them out but they did not work for our 3 night duration which left us using our balcony as a fridge. The crows enjoyed our food but we should have contacted Aman with this issue to avoid warm fridges. The hottub was cool but is apparently to be checked 3 times a day to ensure temperature. Also wish we would have contacted Aman about this. One of our family members had to leave to stay at the Forest as the Crimson is a VERY pet friendly hotel. Myself I had to take Benadryl also to stay the 3 nights but I should have contacted Aman to have the rooms and maybe the hallway pet deodorized. It’s not for people with any pet allergy. There was a dog in many of the rooms because we could hear them crying when their family left them. Great for families who need a home for pets! The parking lot is FULL so we had to use the street parking. We didn’t know about the premium plus deal or the restaurant happy hour etc. Wish we would have checked those things out when booking . (Expedia somehow did our first booking with this hotel so be careful when you search Crimson.). Ensure you get the link with front desk as it’s way more costly. We have spent 30 years going to the Lobstick prior & thought this would be a nice change as it’s on the main strip. The street was quiet. The beds and pillows were comfy. Wished we would have asked for Aman with the issues and checked all the amenities! Definitely ask for Aman with any issue. His customer service is impeccable no matter the issue! He will ensure you are happy at the Crimson and takes pride in this hotel.

Glad the Crimson Jasper was Available!

Serge was the gentleman who registered us upon arrival and we knew from his friendly welcome that this was going to be a great two-night stay. Free parking. Room was clean and comfortable. Elevator and stairs available. The location is walkable to restaurants, pubs, shops, etc. There is a lovely restaurant in the lobby. Easy drive to Maligne Lake and Canyon. **If you want to drive down to the shops, free street parking is available on Connaught Dr below Hazel Ave.
