What was suppose to be the start of a yearly tradition for me and my partner turned out to be awful. I even wrote to the hotel after to tell them about our stay and no one even replied. Our only request was to be in a quiet location, we were put in a room above the entrance. When entering the room we discovered a dirty sock beside the bed, not exactly inviting. We searched the room for information about amenities so we could plan our evening, menus etc and found nothing. We then decided to go down to the pool to unwind and found all the other guests in hotel robes. We asked someone where we could find the robes, we were told they are in the room. Upon searching the room, there were no robes or slippers. It's like someone forgot to stock our room with anything. The only positive point about our stay was breakfast, the view and service were great. We did have to search for it though because we were not informed where it was served at checkin and had no information in the room.

Our anniversary celebration in Banff was truly unforgettable, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Rimrock Resort Hotel. Every interaction exceeded our expectations, making it one of the most memorable resort experiences I've ever had. From the complimentary room upgrade to the concierge's impressive ability to secure a last-minute table for the 7-course tasting menu at Eden, the entire experience was nothing short of amazing.

So many pillows!!! Helpful with my distress daughter, 8yrs, who was frightened by some rowdy guests… they left and the pillows helped as well as the white chocolate brought up by the day manager on duty. So considerate he is. Manas R, I believe

I used to come to the Rimrock as a teenager every year during Christmas break, and haven’t been in about 15 years. I had a nostalgic moment hanging out in the lobby and using the hot tub/steam room facilities. It’s definitely showing its age in both the pool area especially, and the bathrooms in the rooms. The breakfast buffet was not worth the price IMO, and the food was average. Next time I will skip the breakfast and head to some place in town. Overall a decent stay.
