Rude Noisy and Smelly
One of the 8 places we state on our tour of National Parks and by far the worse. The rooms are single wide trailers with carports built over them to make it appear like real buildings. Our room had musky smell and there were moisture odor control devices hidden all around the room that did not work. The inn is centrally located between a busy highway and a railroad track. There is no cell service, internet or landlines in the rooms. The woman that checked us in was rude. She said if anyone in our party smoked they need to go out to the highway beside the ditch. She wanted to make sure we unplugged the coffee pot. After seeing the construction of the building I understand why! If it hadn't been a prepaid non refundable reservation I would not have stayed. I slept in my clothes with my valuables close to the door in case of fire.

The only lodging in Pinnacle
I stayed at this location because I wanted to stay as near the west entrance to Glacier NP as possible without the expensive lodging in and outside the park. Also, it was too far a drive that day to get close to the park in daylight (we drove in from the east). Montana seems to give a name to "every" place that has a few residents. Pinnacle consists of this motel, the adjoining restaurant and the associated campground. Some place (can't remember where) it was listed in Essex, MT, which is a few miles east. The restaurant only serves dinner (6-8 pm). The usual burgers, fries and a few other options. Rooms have no wifi, but do have direct tv (no phones). Use the REMOTE to turn on the tv, change channels, etc. Turning on the tv results in needing the owner to correct the problem. The room was comfortable and clean. There is a coffeemaker in the room, but no place nearby to eat breakfast. NOTE: there is a train track behind the motel and the trains run throughout the day and evening. I didn't mind this, but will drive others crazy.

Nice place, fantastic dinner!
We had a dinner here twice during our holiday and I really loved the place!
I really enjoyed the food and the owners were truly accommodating and kind. They also gave us advises about the place to go and the roads to take. We tried the New York Steak which was huge and really well cooked, I truly recommend you to try it . But the best plate ever has been the dessert: the home-made huckleberry pie made me felt like I was at home!

Boys backpack trip
Randy and his wife were amazing! Full of local information, great advice before our 5 day hike. Amenities, supplies and Montana’s only 100% pure huckleberry pie homemade. Wish I could get more HUCK! Great perk was the option to rent bear spray canisters since we are from out of town. Thanks for everything!

Great Place to Stay!
Stayed here after having to leave another cabin in East Glacier at the last minute. We stayed in the house and was extremely happy with the set up! The area does not have internet (we knew this as we are frequent visitors to Glacier Park) but, the house had cable. Everything was in immaculate condition and was extremely clean! Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed for cooking. Bathroom was spacious and well maintained. Extremely grateful that we found this place. Would stay here again. Thank you for providing us a place to have a safe, clean and comfortable stay!
