During our stay my partner got sick and Todd at reception could not be more helpful, so grateful for his kindness and understanding, gave us a late checkout and helped with further accomodation and providing food for myself and my partner which was above and beyond what I expected. thanks again Todd.

Crazy Night in Seward

First, don't stay here unless you have a car. It is out of town - and there isn't Uber or Lyft in Seward. We had no idea. We did find a taxi, but it was a stressful moment (on July 4th - which is a very big day in Seward). We stayed in one of the cabins. It was fine. It had a very strong smell of cleaner, but it was very clean. We had a problem getting a key for the room (and we never did get one), but we found that the room was open, so that was good. There wasn't anyone at the front desk when we tried to get a key - and we tried calling the number listed there. No luck. Another scary moment before we realized that the room wasn't locked. If I knew what I know now, we would have stayed in town. But this is a charming place. And quiet.

Great location between Exit Glacier and Seward. Easy parking. Clean rooms. Nice staff. It was convenient that you could rent bear spray at the front desk. There was coffee in the dining area in the morning, which was also convenient. Close to Resurrection Restaurant, which was good, and Safeway if you needed food or supplies

Great rate and great location

Positive: This lodge is in a great location. It's right at the turn off towards Exit Glacier and only 10 min away from Seward. The room was very clean and the staff was really friendly. There's a little creek that runs right next to the lodge so our kids loved looking at the clear water flowing through the rocks. Concerns: The flooring finish in the bathroom makes it very slippery whether it's dry or wet. We had to remind each other to step very carefully when going into the bathroom.

We had a fishing trip scheduled out of Seward, but the weather was bad and the oceans had swells to big to go out on. The people at Exit Glacier Lodge were super understanding and did everything possible to make our trip less painful. The customer service was amazing. The rooms were nice and very clean.I would definitely stay there again.
