The perfect amount of "glam" for glamping but you pay for it

My family and I stayed here in tent 76 (a "Suite with Kids Tent - Private Bath") for two nights in October 2023. Rating: 7.5/10 Positives: • This one-of-a-kind setting in the high desert makes for the perfect overnight base from which to explore the Grand Canyon • Sufficiently equipped tents with wooden floors, hot water, and cozy wood-burning stoves • Tents were spread out enough so as to afford a good degree of privacy • Everything we ordered at breakfast was outstanding – for its camp-like setting, the menu was surprisingly varied and offered a full range of coffee beverages • The mostly young staff was very accommodating and helpful • The dazzling night sky deserves a bullet point of its own • [Mostly] unlimited s'mores by a campfire each night – what's not to love? Negatives: • The value proposition seems off. We dropped $1,500 to spend two nights in a glorified tent with no electricity. Something doesn't add up. • Our friends that were staying in another tent were smoked out after a staff member lit their stove for them. This spooked us from lighting ours for the first night when it was far too cold outside (and inside) to not do so. On the second night we rolled the dice and called the staff to light it – fortunately this time all went well and we slept much more comfortably. • I would really prefer a design that lets guests park near their tents as the trek from the parking lot to the tent grew tiresome quickly • It may not be fair to cite "no electricity" as a negative given the fluidity of the term "glamping" but there are times when it sure would have been nice!

This glamping experience offers a perfect blend of luxury and nature, allowing guests to immerse themselves in stunning natural surroundings without sacrificing comfort. It's also an excellent choice for those seeking adventure and relaxation in a unique and picturesque setting. The combination of high-quality accommodation, cozy campfires, and a range of activities makes it a memorable experience. The staff are also amazing. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

Amazing place. Expensive pr Night and also the food but worth the money. Staff was the sweetest and very Helpful. It is a great place only 40 min from Gran Canyon South Rim and great place to just relax. The tents/suite is lovely decorated and beds are Nice and Big. Only negative, is that I would expect for such luxury glamping stay ( and the High Price pr Night) to have a water cooker so you Can make your own tea/coffee in the tent in the morning. And maybe free earplugs for sleeping would be a Nice touch,

Stay elsewhere for the $$$

Been there, done that, won't do it again. Tent was fine, what we expected. Understaffed and overpriced for what you get! Especially with food and beverage. Asked for wine glasses for the tent, got coffee cups, that we had to go get ourselves because they never brought them. Silliness like coffee cup insulators not fitting the coffee cups!? Bartender/Order taker/Food runner and busser was all the same guy. We waited 45 minutes for a MEH dinner over $100. Children were running around, inside and out. Very communal and loud. For it to have been at only half capacity it felt packed. We did appreciate the live music. On check out day we had to call/text numerous times to have the golf cart come pick us up to take us to our car. Be aware of where they put you, you can't take your car to most tents. Overall, lots of $$$, poor experience.

My first glamping experience. Friendly staff and nice accommodations. Food was good, common area very nice. We went at the end of September, so my minimal complaints are more about the desert than Under Canvas. 90 degrees during the day, 40 at night. I wish the cast iron stove was larger because it only fit enough logs for 3-4 hours, so I kept having to get up in the middle of the night and add wood.
