We stayed here overnight on our way to a morning Port Angeles ferry trip. The staff and common areas of the hotel were good. The guestrooms, not so much. Positives: - Breakfast offered a decent food selection with friendly service - Fitness Center looks new, had modern equipment, was clean - Desk staff were super friendly - Parking was ample and the hotel itself was easy to find - King guest room was large and the bed was comfortable (mattress on the harder side, which we like) - Room had both a small fridge and microwave Negatives: - The guestroom had old, outdated furniture, outlets that didn't work and stained carpet - The bathroom had mold in the shower and a torn shower curtain - Cleaning staff did not do a good job. When we checked in, there was someone else's hair on BA floor and brown stains in tub. The microwave turntable and refrigerator bin were sitting on top of garbage pail. Also note that the restaurant across the street from the hotel closes at 8, so late dinner options are limited. While the staff and common areas were really good at this hotel, given the high room rates, we would not return until they do guestroom renovations, .

Exceptional service and a brilliant location for exploring the Olympic National Park

Service with a smile from every member of staff; a bottle of Prosecco in the room for my 40th birthday was a lovely touch! The room was very spacious for our small family, we loved the dining area, living area and a large fridge to use + coffee machine. Unbelievably this was the first time on our road trip around Washington/Oregon that we had a working television(!). Check in and check out was smooth and very friendly. The breakfast staff were lovely and made balloon animals for all of the children and invited them to complete colouring activities which were then pinned up the next morning! Cookies, coffee and chilled water always available in the lobby was a real plus and the pool/hot tub was exceptional. Would love to return!

My wife and I with our 12 year old son stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Sequim in July 2023 for 4 nights. It was a perfect location for exploring the nearby mountains and coastal areas. We had a spacious room with wonderful views towards the coast and Canada beyond. Breakfast was good, the staff were welcoming and helpful and the swimming pool was lovely. We ate in the diner next door which was great. When we checked in we were a little worried about the proximity of the main roads either side of the hotel but it was nothing to worry about - our room was really quiet. It's a short drive into Sequim. We recommend this hotel.

All the staff we encountered were so friendly! Their breakfast was great with so many options. Love that they offer coffee/tea/water at anytime. The pool was fun and the fire pit out front was a nice addition in the evening, as was the rooftop garden- very cute. Biggest downside was the cleanliness of the room, unfortunately found many dark long hairs in the bathroom- on the shower walls and on the side of the toilet. Also, the blackout curtains didn’t come close to closing all the way so we were woke up by the bright sunshine much earlier than we had planned. Otherwise was a great stay. Beds were comfy and clean and the room felt big.

My very tired girlfriend and I arrived at the Holiday Inn Express late on Saturday. We were greeted by incredibly friendly staff who even gave us a room upgrade upon seeing our dishevelment. The room itself was quite nice. The king size bed was so comfy that I felt like a king! It is a very quiet hotel in a beautiful part of the state. The breakfast is pretty basic, but at least it is free. It was an expensive place, so I wouldn’t recommend an extended stay as this hotel is a bit away from the area’s top attractions. There isn’t much to do in the immediate vicinity. Nonetheless this was a great place to crash for a night!
