In Bryce you're at the mercy of just a few hotels, especially in the winter, this being one of just a couple that were open when we went in Dec. So we didn't have many choices, it was this or the Ruby's Inn across the street. I heard the same family owns both and the same employees work at both so not sure it matters which of the two you stay at as they're probably very similar. We enjoyed our stay and it was sufficient for what we needed. Pros: - Large breakfast buffet with a lot of variety - eggs, meats, breads, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juices, etc - Easy check-in & check-out - Great location - about a 10 min drive to the entrance of the park (we went when the shuttle wasn't running) but also looks to have a shuttle stop nearby. - Pretty clean rooms that were fairly large Cons: - Our heater wasn't working (was blowing cool air) so they had to send maintenance people a couple times to fix it. Not a huge deal and they did send people fairly quickly to fix, but every evening when we came home the housekeepers had turned it on and left it on so our room would be freezing when we got there. Not ideal. - Not enough help in the breakfast room for the amount of people eating there - certain food ran out, tables never got cleaned, etc. - No restaurant/option for lunch or dinner

We weren't sure what to expect with this hotel, but every aspect exceeded our expectations. Our room was quite large and very comfortable beds and shower. We visited during the holidays and our rate was shockingly low for what we got - free wifi, lovely room, and a huge breakfast with many options! Check in was smooth; every front desk employee we spoke with was friendly and knowledgeable - offering maps and guidance for other must-see sites in the area. There is a general store across the street for stocking up on snacks and food; the in-room microwave & fridge are convenient! Highly recommend this hotel property when visiting Bryce Canyon area.

We stayed here over labor day weekend and yes this one is by far the better one to stay at then the one across the road! The service was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. They have an omelet bar that was amazing! Kids loved the pool and the hot tub and the shuttle bus for the parks stops right by the parking lot.

It's a 2.5 Star at Best. Crowded, Smelly and Not In Working Order.

I debated about how to review this hotel because you don't really have great options in this tiny town. (Whatever you do, don't stay at the Best Western Ruby Inn- that's even worse/grosser.) This hotel was so crowded that breakfast overflow went into meeting rooms and the food was poor. We had multiple issues - we stayed for 2 nights and our room was not cleaned when we returned after the first day. We were told all the housekeeping staff had left so they gave us towels and after arguing, 'agreed' to have maintenance clean the room. I think they took about 2 minutes which leaves me to wonder if anything is ever cleaned in the room. The halls were smelly - and we weren't the only family to notice. Our TV was so dark that we couldn't watch it. When we inquired how to make it brighter, the maintenance person explained that there was no way to do that and all the TVs were like that. (He wondered aloud if they were defective or should all be replaced....) Hopefully, you can find a better option.

Can't complain too much at all. Best western plus hotels seem to have a standard to up keep across the country and they seem to do it well. Breakfast buffet bar included and although not as much selection as BWP Manhattan beach, one can not complain at all :) Rooms seemed tidy and presentable, however seemed a little dated (but nothing that would spoil the stay). Bathroom was clean and mold free.
