Their front desk staff was not knowledgeable about what they served versus not. The rooms not great either. We didn't get the breakfast we paid for as they didn't know where the microwave was. And the constant mantra was " Folks, we have only been open for 2 days ". They should consider refunding or reducing their prices if they can't live up to their full promise.

The only reason for 3 stars is the buffet at night. Some variety of food options, but food was mediocre. Definitely not worth the price. Last, staff was pleasant. Betty D. at front desk was great.

Amazing location, very good staff, good facility. Great accessibility to the Grand Canyon north rim.

Very nice log main building with comfy large fireplace where the breakfast and dinner buffets (not included) are served. Our duplex cabin #8 was great. Good shower and beds and wonderful natural meadow view. Very good staff. Melissa, Beth and Kevin were particularly nice. They always took the time to listen to, and to address our concerns. They made our trip extra nice! Wonderful 4-night stay late October.

A great experience in every way. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay near the Grand Canyon north rim.

Clean, well maintained cabin. Supper buffet was excellent as always. Very relaxing atmosphere in the main lodge with the fireplace, bar, dining room, comfortable seating, big screen TV, and internet access.

The wall heater did not work when we checked in. The first maintenance guy said 'it wasn't cold enough to kick in'. After an hour, we asked for another maintenance guy who eventually, after cleaning debris out of it, was able to get it working.
There was no mini fridge or microwave to make our dinner or breakfast. The meals served in the lodge were out of our price range at $39.95 per person for dinner and $17.95 per person for breakfast. The mattress needed to be replaced. It was very lumpy and uncomfortable. The blinds had broken slats. In the morning, we found traces of mice. All this, for nearly $300 per night with tax. We had asked to be moved to a newer cabin but could not be accommodated. We were shocked at the state of dis-repair.
We felt the Kaibab Lodge was a huge rip-off for the price.
