Staff very warm and welcoming, did everything to make our stay successful. Emma was a treat, she gave us a ride in the golf cart several times to our tent, to check it out, help with luggage and light the fire in the stove. It was windy and 39* overnight in early June. Loved the common area and dinner and breakfast choices. Loved the view of Mt. Rushmore from the deck. We had fun playing Scrabble in the common area and stopping at the camp fire for a s'more, of course. Good Times :*)

We recently stayed at Mt. Rushmore Under Canvas location during Father's Day weekend. It was amazing!!!!! Staff, accommodations, food, and scenery! Worth every penny to have some unplugged time with our two teenage boys. It was above and beyond what I had expected that I want to visit all locations!!!!! I love that it was luxurious without a pretentious vibe - thanks again for making our trip fabulous Under Canvas!

Having enjoyed safari tents in east Africa, we thought we'd give this a try. Don't be put off by the proximity to Keystone, which is a tourist trap; this place is deep in the woods, away from the hustle and bustle of tshirt shops and bars. THIS PLACE IS WONDERFUL. Tents are carefully located for views and privacy, the furnishings are lovely, and common areas--bathrooms, showers, dining area--are kept spic-and-span. The staff are AMAZING, attentive, helpful, friendly, and a big part of what makes this place special. I have only one complaint: the closest bathroom/shower should have had 3 bathrooms but one was out of order for our stay, and since it was also closest to the dining area, it was frequently in demand. Nonetheless, we'll be visiting an Under Canvas again soon.

Under Canvas Mt Rushmore was one of our new family favorite vacations! We are campers so we didn't expect it to be as nice as it was. The tents were so clean, the beds were super comfortable and the reception area was so much fun to hang out in! The restaurant provided amazing food and we ordered lunches to take on our days' adventure and they were scrumptious! Everyone on staff was so helpful and accommodating - they helped us navigate the area and were so fun with the our kids. The weekend provided us the best opportunity to connect as a family! If you're looking for a unique experience and something more comfortable than a hotel - stay at Under Canvas!

What an amazing experience a weekend with my family at Under Canvas Mount Rushmore was! We knew we were going ‘Glamping’ with a canvas tent, real bed and bathroom inside the tent, but we didn’t really know what to expect. WOW - We were blown away by the location, the service, the elegant rural feel to the property and the comfort and quality of our ‘Tent’. You feel a million miles from anywhere but with the luxuries of running water and well cooked food. We had a suite tent, it’s a little larger than the deluxe, it had a pull out couch our kids slept on, a little more room for the ‘living area’ and King bed, a wood burning fire and bathroom, complete with flushing toilet, shower and sink! At the front of the tent is a porch with your firewood supply and chairs, oh and an amazing view. There was something very special each night about starting and tending to a fire while the kids went to bed. Sleeping in a large canvas tent with the sound of a crackling fire is very unique and comforting. While you have a choice to either keep stoking the fire early in the morning to keep the tent warm or hiding under the covers, it’s so nice your bathroom is in your tent and you’re not trying to navigate to an outhouse. *Disclaimer some smaller tents DO NOT have a bathroom. Each night our kids ran around the property, playing games, roasting marshmallows, listening to live music and hanging out with new friends. No technology, no tvs, no iphones, just nature! A very special place, I can’t recommend the location highly enough!
