Beautiful lodge with clean, comfortable rooms. We really enjoyed the pool & jacuzzi…very relaxing after a physically exhausting day of hiking! Breakfast had something for everyone and the staff were all so pleasant & accommodating. We hope to stay longer next time we’re in the area.

New, roomy, clean, great bed, nice staff. On site restaurant not exotic but good food and service. Great location midway along highway 12. Be careful with the mini-fridge as it is really cold. Noticed multiple EV chargers in back. We would definitely stay there again.

We found the lodge to be quite comfortable. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable. The pool and hot tub were clean and at good temperatures. Breakfast was a bit better than most hotel standard fare. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay at CCL again.

Best Hotel in Escalante

We have stayed in Escalante 3 times previous to this week’s stay. This hotel is the nicest one in the whole area. Fantastic staff, excellent rooms, great pool and breakfast, and amazing location. If you are visiting Grand-Staircase National Monument or any of the surrounding jaw-dropping natural wonders, this is a perfect home base. We travelled with 10 families and everyone loved this hotel. Additional highlights— basketball hoop at the pool, nice high shower heads (for my tall husband and sons), roll away beds for extra guest, homemade buttermilk syrup for breakfast waffles, and super kind staff.

Great place to stay in Escalante

This is my second stay here. The rooms are large, bathrooms are great, shower enclosures are nicely tiled. They offer a complimentary breakfast, and an in-house restaurant for dinner. We ate at the restaurant, and enjoyed it. Escalante mostly has lower quality places to stay, but this is a standout.
