We have stayed in Escalante 3 times previous to this week’s stay. This hotel is the nicest one in the whole area. Fantastic staff, excellent rooms, great pool and breakfast, and amazing location. If you are visiting Grand-Staircase National Monument or any of the surrounding jaw-dropping natural wonders, this is a perfect home base. We travelled with 10 families and everyone loved this hotel. Additional highlights— basketball hoop at the pool, nice high shower heads (for my tall husband and sons), roll away beds for extra guest, homemade buttermilk syrup for breakfast waffles, and super kind staff.

This is my second stay here. The rooms are large, bathrooms are great, shower enclosures are nicely tiled. They offer a complimentary breakfast, and an in-house restaurant for dinner. We ate at the restaurant, and enjoyed it. Escalante mostly has lower quality places to stay, but this is a standout.

Pretty lobby with seating by fireplace. Restaurant was convenient, food was good. Well lit Spacious room & bathroom with comfortable beds. Pool & hot tub was nice. However it was overrun with screaming unattended kids. After a long day of hiking the hot tub was very nice but too noisy to be fully enjoyed.

friendly Staff, comfy beds, very nice breakfast buffet, Melanie from the breakfast buffet was very nice and helpful! Loved the eggs and sausage. Ate at the restaurant at night, was very very busy and only had one server, but she was very nice! Good stay overall

Very friendly front desk, and a great location for all things Escalante. The room was very spacious and clean. Free breakfast was delicious... but no breakfast meats offered. Laundry available, and a sink in the lobby to quickly fill up for your hike. Will stay here again next time we're in Escalante.
