You can't go wrong booking Canyon Country Lodge. The rooms are enormous, the bathroom is large and impeccable, the hotel is modern and updated, the laundry is a godsend for folks enjoying the outdoors. The grill, though modest, is very tasty and a great convenience in a small town with limited dining options. The front desk is helpful (for example, in receiving a package sent to us via UPS.)

This management of this hotel really knew what they were doing when they designed the rooms and communal spaces. We occupied a room on the second floor and had a very quiet and comfortable 3 night stay. The furnishings were both tasteful and practical. The front desk personnel were extremely helpful in suggesting hikes and other activities in the area. Finally, our room was spotless.

Only stayed for one night, but it was a wonderful experience. Room was quiet, clean, and perfect after a long day of hiking. Appreciated the clean laundry facilities. Breakast was great, the front desk employee (Fran) was absolutely wonderful, and was possibly the nicest desk person I have ever encountered at a hotel. She was extremely friendly, and gave great advice on options where to eat locally, knowledge of the area, etc. Will definitely recommend this hotel, and I hope people will get Fran when the check in!

We had a great stay at this hotel—perfectly located for visiting Escalante National Park and the surrounding trails. The room was comfortable and the facilities were well maintained. We really appreciated having coffee, tea, and water available all day—it was a nice touch after a day of hiking. Breakfast was also very good, with enough options to start the day right. The only downside was the sofa bed, which wasn’t very comfortable—could definitely be improved. Still, overall it was a very convenient and pleasant place to stay. We’d definitely come back!

Probably one of the better options in this little town. The hotel was incredibly clean and the rooms are a really good size. The rooms were super clean and the staff was good. The breakfast in the morning is a nice perk as there aren't a lot of food options in this town. The only complaint we had was the first night we were there the hot tub wasn't working- apparently they had forgotten to turn the heat in on it- so it was a disappointment to not have that hot tub. But the next night it was working and such a nice night to sit in the hot tub to relax!
