We had a great time sleeping in these wonderful yurts. They have great beds, tv, airconditioning, an outdoor kitchen and nearby Escalante has a couple of wonderful small restaurants. The visitors centre can recommend beautiful walks. But waking up in the Yurt was the best experience of our holiday

This is a clean, comfortable, and laid back place to stay in Escalante. The scenery can’t be beat - there’s nothing like waking up in the cool morning air in a nice bed and having coffee sitting on the patio in beautiful scenery. Our kids had a great time swinging on the tree swing. This is a great place to stay if you plan to do a lot of hiking and get dirty because you don’t have to track all of that inside. The outdoor shower is an especially nice touch.

Absolutely beautiful place and accommodations. Jan and Scott are incredible hosts, they went out of their way to make sure I got to the yurt safely (a major road was closed due to snow). Even Jan's father asked if I was OK. Jan and Scott make this special place and yurts even more special with their hospitality, genuine curiosity, sense of humor and kindness. I had a breakfast ready to go for my hike. Would definitely come back.

Wonderful! The communication from start to finish with Jan was excellent and personal. The yurt was perfectly appointed with everything you could need- so cozy. The breakfast was such a fantastic bonus. For my family it meant getting on the road asap with no need to stop. The location itself is situated in a beautiful area close to so many awesome hikes. Jan was an incredible help planning my hikes the next day which meant more time with my family. I cannot wait to return.❤️

What an amazing place! We stayed in the Aspen yurt and we were so impressed. It was gorgeous and had everything we could possibly need. Between the comfortable bed, the wall mounted big screen t v, the plush robes we decided that “Glamping” is the only way to go. It’s such a beautiful and peaceful place and so close to many great hikes. We’ll definitely be back
