My husband and I were on the West Coast for a conference and wanted to stop somewhere between there and home (North Carolina) on our way back. We chose Jackson Hole and selected the Rusty Parrot Lodge from TripAdvisor reviews. Unfortunately, the smoke from the wildfires in California triggered a nasty sinus infection, so I was feeling pretty awful by the time we arrived in Jackson Hole. Who wants to be sick while traveling? Not me...that's for sure! But if it's going to happen, I want to be somehwere that feels like home. The Rusty Parrot Lodge was exactly that! It was nicely furnished and comfortable, and the food at the restaurant downstairs was wonderful! The lodge staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had what I needed. Excellent customer service! We did get out and explore - the lodge is an easy walk to all of the shops and restaurants that downtown Jackson Hole has to offer. We'd love to go back during the summer and will definitely stay at the Rust Parrot again!

Loved the hotel and loved Jackson hole. Only regret is we didn’t have enough time in our schedule to make the most of it. Not the cheapest in town but you get what you pay for. Friendly staff and nicely detailed finishes.

Such a wonderful Anniversary trip!

My husband and I visited the Rusty Parrot for our first Anniversary. This place wowed me first by calling in advance of our reservation to confirm details, and to offer concierge assistance booking with tours and plans while we were in Jackson Hole. After that, they welcomed us after a long trip and gave a tour of the Lodge, while also offering a kind gift for our anniversary. It was stellar and so completely beyond what was expected! Our King Fireplace room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. We were there a total of 5 nights, but it barely felt like that at all. We could have gladly stayed for even longer. Everyone was so attentive, and we found the fact that it was in a quiet corner with a park nearby, allows it to be a very relaxing location, while still being very accessible to Jackson's main square. My husband went to the spa and thoroughly enjoyed his massage. We left after a restful week in Jackson, and would come back in a heartbeat!

Understated and elegant. Wood fires in your room, coffee and cookies in the library, a staff that engages, a rooftop hot tub and intimate dining. Sophisticated, yet unpretentious. The perfect place to stay in this incredible area.

Pleasant boutique hotel that goes the extra mile

Recent visit to Yellowstone. Prebooked a room for a few nights in Jackson Hole and chose the Rusty Parrot. Tucked away in a side street which is very quiet. Not so imposing but very different once inside. Spacious rooms clean and very comfortable especially the beds.Staff friendly and welcoming and helpful In house restaurant with an excellent menu with professional staff. Eggs Benedict for breakfast highly recommended and the evening fine dining is also great quality. My wife upgraded us to a room with a fire place. Has its limitations so probably not worth it.For the cold weather there is an outside hot tub where you can contemplate the mountains and sip on hot cider , Fantastic.Overall a very welcoming and comfortable experience.
