I stayed in the family room with my children last weekend. The room was nice, it slept 5 of us comfortably. I feel that Covid has made customer service non-existent everywhere we go. The rooms aren't cleaned until you leave. You have to place dirty towels and garbage in the hall in the morning. I didn't mind that, but they didn't leave clean towels. I had to call the desk (from my cell phone because the room phone didn't work) and request clean towels. The desk clerk said that she was the only one there (at noon) and we would have to come pick them up from the desk. The breakfast was average hotel food, nothing special. Overall, the room met our needs, but I would rate it average.

Great location, well manicured grounds, clean, good hot breakfast, comfortable beds, quiet rooms, nice pool area, kids enjoyed basketball court, nice coffee bar. Wifi very slow during peak hours and front desk staff very uninspiring.. they seem indifferent to everything. Pool is cold too. Avoid moab until street construction is complete. It's a complete sh#$ show in town right now and takes hours to get anywhere.

The good and the not so good

We stayed three nights at Aarchway. Had mixed feelings. The good: The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The king bed was great. The room was spacious. The grounds were very nice. Out back there is a big green, park like area with benches, a small covered area and nice views. The pool area is very pleasant. The motel is situated at the end of town making the access to Arches National Park easy. Note: At his point, there is MAJOR construction on the road into Moab. In late afternoon/evening the traffic was backed up several miles. Took us 40 minutes from the park to the motel. If you are coming in on Rt. 191, expect delays and going in and out of town is slow. The not so good: Many rooms overlook the pool area. Even in October, it was noisy in the afternoon and evening until 10 p.m. Most other rooms overlook parking lots which would be quieter if you were on floors 2 or 3. The hallways look rundown so the overall look of the hotel is dated. The breakfast does have hot food but it is mostly awful. The eggs were terrible, the potatoes really hard; the only good things were the bacon and sausage. All three mornings the hot food was slightly warm at best. Toast and pastries are limited due to Covid. There was yogurt and some fruit. Juice and coffee were good.

Fun! Plenty of towels, pillows, in-room coffee and cups. Everything was clean and the staff was super nice. We brought our granddaughters and they are trying to talk us into taking them back next spring!

Completely enjoyed our stay. Only wish we were able to stay a little longer. Very clean and updated, nice hot breakfast, wonderful staff. Nothing negative to say about this hotel at all. About a 15min drive to the center of Moab - only because all the construction traffic makes getting into town a headache. Minutes from Arches and Canyonland parks.
