Quirky, charming independent
I liked the fact that it wasn't a chain - this place was a little quirky but also fun. Moab has become a little over-exploited & cheezball in the two decades since I've been there - this remains unique. Our triple queen-bed layout was funky, and I still haven't figured out how to navigate the elevator & stairs, but that remains an interesting memory. No one in the whole town seemed to be worried about Covid, so Aarchway was better than most businesses we entered. They did have someone serving breakfast, so that made things a little safer. Happy they had the outdoor spa & pool open, although the pool wasn't heated very much, and the busy spa scared us off. Must have seen ~8-9 dogs in the hallways, so I was surprised to see that they weren't allowed. Amazing view from our window....

Unsafe COVID practices
It pains me to write a negative review during this time when businesses are hurting. However I think people should know what risk they are taking staying at this hotel. While the staff wear masks, they are not taking any measures to protect customers. They are actually enabling situations that allow people to congregate. They offer cafeteria style hot breakfast with no social distancing at the line. No Togo containers are provided, so guests crowd in the room where even the tables are not spaced apart. Even the lobby is full of furniture and guests lounge there having pizza parties in the evening without masks. Last of all, our room was over the swimming pool and the noise in the evening was obnoxious. Stay at your own risk.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. The outside area was great. However, there was not much done to muffle sound. We were on the first floor and we were constantly joking that a t-rex was staying above us. Overall, great location though. Extremely close to Arches. There is a lot of construction so staying here allowed us to avoid most of it.

Good choice for Moab
We had a good-sized room in this older hotel that has been updated. The room was well lit, with a microwave and a large mini-fridge with freezer. The AC worked well but was noisy. Beds and furniture were comfortable. The sink area was separate from the shower/toilet room, and there was adequate counter space. The shower head was good but placed low. We had a decent breakfast with hot items.

Decent place to stay in Moab
We stayed in the room with the jetted tub, which was nice. The rooms were kinda shabby but the beds are comfortable. My big complaint with the room was the design of the the stall shower. The showerhead sprayed directly out the door with no way to stop it unless you closed the door, leading to huge puddles. Also, the location of the showerhead sprayed right in my face with no way to adjust it. My husband is 6’1” and I’m 5’6” and neither of us could get the showerhead in a position where it wasn’t super awkward to shower.
Their services are pretty limited due to covid but they do still serve a continental breakfast.
