Clean, comfortable, convenient location
We like to hike in Arches and Canyonlands. This hotel is located nearby. The hotel is clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed. Free hot breakfast to start your day! The location is convenient to the town for shopping and eating.

We booked this as a stopover after visiting Bryce Canyon and before going to Arches National Park. It is on the doorstep of Arches. The hotel is really comfortable and I liked the slightly unusual decor. The service was really good. We got a rollaway bed for free - the only hotel which offered this to us! The included breakfast was great, lots of choice. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and bouncy castle in the lobby. We also liked the fact that this is an independent hotel and not a chain. What would be nice would be some USB charging ports in the room. There are lots of facilities at the hotel which we didn't get to enjoy as we were only there overnight. But we will definitely stay here again if we come back to Moab.

Even better than expected!
I loved the Aarchway Inn! When they didn’t have a room with two queen beds, they gave us a room with three for the price of two and let us stay there the whole trip! The breakfast was fantastic! Honestly, I preferred the free breakfasts to the $50 meals we got at local restaurants. My kids loved the pirate themed playground and free freshly baked cookies, and we all really enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub even in November. The hotel is one of the closest to Arches National Park, and really easy to find. I’d give this place ten stars if I could!

Sound sleep no noise
I looked at every lodging option in Moab before booking the Aarchway Inn for two nights and was not disappointed. We, and our autistic son, slept comfortably and soundly and had no noise issues at all on a November weekend. However, people with their lifted jeeps and trailers all felt the need to park next to the hotel instead of in the adjacent and clearly signed oversize/trailer lot so it was hard to find a parking space. The layout of the motel is unusual too, as even and odd floors (one and two, three and four) are actually the same floors long floors broken by a short stairway in the middle. This creates a short, steep hill in the paved parking lot as well which creates a brake test for your vehicle in wet conditions. Anyway, the elevator opens on one side for odd and the opposite side for even. I was tired and didn't know this so was watching the wrong door, wondering why I couldn't get off the elevator at 4. Rode it back down and then figured it out. Room was large and comfortable, and had no noise issues, at least until going down to breakfast. The hotel also has a coffee shop, small gift shop, pool, hot tub, and resident dog. Made a good base for a weekend of hiking.

4one half stars
Our room was large, with a separate living room from bedroom. Breakfast was hot and changed daily. Now the reason for not s five stars. The place was not full most of our five night stay. The one night we had someone above us, you could hear them walking and kids jumping. Now the shower. Who ever design it never took a shower before. The shower head faces the door, so it causes the water to flow into the room. You have to stand in the shower and turn on the water. Lucky the hot water comes fast. Another plus, location is North of Moab proper. Quiet, and easy to get back on the highway. Lots of truck traffic going Thur Moab.
