Two great, quiet nights in a tourist town
We spent 2 very pleasant nights at Novel house in October while touring Zion National Park. This is a very comfortable, well appointed, immaculately clean B&B, and met all our expectations. Ciaran is a wonderful hosts and can help out with all your Park logistical questions. If he mentions "kilometers" and your trying to place the accent, he's Irish. The B&B is located about a block off the main drag, and is quiet and peaceful. It is a short 5 minute walk to the Park shuttle service.
No breakfast served on premise, but coupons for 2 different restaurants that are a shot 5-7 minute walk away. Both were very good. There is a great back porch with a million dollar view and just right for a drink in the afternoon.
Great place, we'd come again and can recommend without any reservation at all.

Wish I would have stayed longer!
How strongly I express my sheer delight and happiness on our short one night stay here. Manager Terry, with his beautiful Irish brogue and welcoming hospitality made us feel right at home. Our room, the Leo Tolstoy, socked with one of my favorite’s Anna Karenina, amongst others, was beautifully appointed with a small fridge, thick towels, and a big comfy king bed.
Smack dab in the middle of town walking distance to Zion and all great restaurants, I recommend this wonderful immaculate boutique hotel and will visit again.
Be sure to use your free breakfast coupon at Oscar’s!

We spent 5 nights here in September, using it as our base to explore Zion NP and Bryce Canyon NP. We stayed in the Mark Twain room and we loved it! It’s a beautiful house and our room was, too. The wi-fi worked great. The owner is a super nice guy and he will insist on carrying your bags in - and he’s knowledgeable on things to do in the area. There’s no breakfast provided on the property, but you are given vouchers for two great cafes within easy walking distance. We loved this place and if we make it back to Springdale this is where we’ll stay. Cannot recommend too much!

Like everyone else, this guest house is the best. Strongly recommended for couples. Not sure if they accommodate families - you'll have to check. Location is perfect, Springdale is a joy of town to visit. They give breakfast coupons to Oscars which is FABULOUS and you can order whatever you want off the menu. Can't say enough about this B&B. Would definitely return. Owners are a joy as well.

Absolutely perfect and enchanting stay!
If you enjoy the rich history and romance of the Old West, you too will be enchanted by this place! Each room is named after a well-known Western author and decorated accordingly. We stayed in the Louis L’Amour room next to the Mark Twain room and the Walt Whitman room. I did not see the interior of the other rooms, but ours was totally charming. In addition, it was very well and practically appointed. We had a dorm refrigerator, real glass wine and drinking glasses, not plastic or paper, flat screen TV (with direct TV), DVD player and electric fireplace (which we did not need as it was never colder than 50). Plenty of pillows, two rocking chairs and a small high top table with two bar stools. The bathroom was clean, bright and looked as if it had just been re-done. The tile around the tub was immaculate. No dirty, chipped grout and rusting around the drains and faucets like you often see in the chain hotels. Everything was very comfortable. The house has two very large front rooms on either side of the main entry. One is a library with a huge collection of books, magazines and DVDs and a small gift shop. The other side is a dining area with a refrigerator for guests to store medical supplies and leftovers that won’t fit in your dorm fridge in the room. No meals were provided but we were given a daily voucher for breakfast at our choice of two restaurants, each of which was a short walk from the property. We only ended up eating at one during our 3 day stay because we ate there the first morning and fell in love with it. (See my related review of Oscar’s, in Springdale, UT). The property has a large parking lot with wide spaces right outside the front door. The house has a lovely veranda and back yard, each of which has seating. There were no vacancies while we stayed there, but we never saw another guest or any of the staff and if we had not seen the other cars in the parking lot or seen that our room had been cleaned, we would have thought that we had the place to ourselves. The owner lives in an adjacent property and was very friendly and personable and let us know that he was always available if we needed anything. And to top it all off, we walked out one afternoon to go to dinner and two deer were feeding in the shrubbery off the parking lot only about 50 feet away! Beautiful! The property is just off of Zion Boulevard and within easy walking distance of dozens of good restaurants, coffee shops and gift shops. It is about 1 mile from the entrance of Zion National Park. We chose to drive to the park, but it is easily walkable if you are able-bodied. We initially thought the rate was quite reasonable, but after seeing and experiencing all that we got for our money, this was an fabulous bargain.
