My husband and I just spent a few days at the Heat, we were in town to celebrate my parents 60th aniv. We chose the heat because of its view of the xmas boat parade, it was more expensive than most but the occasion was worth it. The view of the London bridge was great, the room very nice, beds comfy, all of the staff were very friendly....all except the manager. We nicknamed her the dragon. For my parents special occasion we planned to watch the parade from our room and bought some nice wine. we asked for a few wine glasses for our room, the dragon lady shut that down and said that the hotel was too busy for more than 2 glasses per room. Then when my elderly parents and handicapped sister arrived, she lectured us and said that they could not park at the hotel, it was for guests only. Our room had the capacity for 4 so she was really out of line and so rude. My husband suggested that we move our car so that my parents could remain, she watched us for 5min to ensure that we moved our car off the premises. Overall the hotel is very nice, no pool or restaurant, staff lovely, the manager needs to rethink her career choice.

Very nice hotel with a great view of the London Bridge. Staff was great and always very helpful. This was our second stay and I'm sure we will be back again. Only thing I find disturbing is the "resort fee" added to the cost of the room at check in. Seems like a under handed way to charge more for the room without disclosing at the time of booking.

I reserved this hotel for friends that were visiting. Angela at the front desk could not have been more pleasant and bartender Ryan on the patio was excellent and very helpful with local recommendations.

Good Value Off-Season

We stayed during the off-season and got a good deal on room. Not a lot going on, so it was pretty quiet. The room, although a little worn, was clean and spacious. We stayed in a Bridgeview room. Large deck and lots of windows. Nice view of the London Bridge. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and trails. The room had a large couch and desk and bar areas. Lots of room for guests. No paper towels or ustensils provided. Whirpool tub was nice. The view was great, but at night, the lights outside, although beautiful, kept the room from getting dark. Better black out curtains would have helped.
