What a beautiful place! We weren’t really expecting such a nice hotel in such a rustic place, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The Entrada Escalante is a first-class place - nice beds and bedding, very well equipped kitchen and bathroom,, and a lovely, friendly person at the front desk to welcome us - Tabitha. We definitely recommend staying here when you’re in the area - it’s a great home base.

We had the double queen room with kitchenette. Very spacious and clean room. Kitchenette was great and we utilized it for pretty much all of our meals. Loved that they provided fresh coffee grinds and a nice coffee maker. We all fell in love with the shower area with the two shower heads. After hiking all day, it felt so good to step into that shower. Also had a nice private patio seating area outside the back door with nice view. The self laundry room was definitely a plus! The staff was so friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice - the best of everything. Great beds, nice kitchenette, super walk-in shower with two heads. Great views, private back door onto patio. Quiet. A great place to stay or base camp while visiting some of the finest slickrock. Super nice folks.

Better than Glamping!

Deluxe Suite/King Bed was a spacious home-away-from-home with a large, fully accessorized kitchen, spacious living room, private bedroom, very large bathroom and nice rear patio. Eight units available, and staff is courteous and helpful. The lodge is centrally located in walking distance to the beautiful visitor center, great food at Outfitters Cafe, a general store that supplies the town of 802, and short driving distance to some of nature's best hikes. Getting there is fun too as Scenic Route 12 is one of the most beautiful drives in the country.

I visited to attend a film "premier" with friends. I had my dog with me, and we both totally enjoyed the large, comfortable suite. The quiet, yet convenient location was perfect, esp. the easy access to open, dog friendly areas to walk, right out the back door! I could've stayed for a week!
