My fiancé, pup, and I stayed over Christmas weekend and it was such a great decision. We got the pet friendly suite with kitchen which had everything we needed to make Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner! Super clean and super spacious rooms to lay out our gear before canyoneering and open up presents, great staff, and awesome views. You won’t regret it!

We were traveling by van through southern Utah and needed a comfy place to stay in Escalante to shower, do laundry and clean. The Entrada Escalante Lodge had more amenities than most luxury hotels, free laundry, the most comfy bed and great fluffy towels. Would definitely stay again.

First off, the beds are super-comfortable. The Entrada is our go-to place in the Grand Staircase-Escalante area. There are two buildings, each with 4 rooms. Rooms 1-4 are pet-free, rooms 5-8 accept pets. Each has a kitchen, fully stocked with tools (including a grater, for nachos) and service for 4. They also have a special coffee blend, and you can borrow a french press. The back patios offer outdoor seating, with a propane grill for each building. The bathrooms are palatial. A wonderful place to come home to after a day of canyoneering. Remember that it's not the Four Seasons -- the main reason you come to Escalante is to get dirty, so it's really nice that they have guest laundry and a basket of extra towels just for cleaning, and a double-sized shower. There are modern TVs that can play Netflix, but why would you want to watch TV when the view faces the stunning sandstone cliffs? The grocery store down the hill covers the basics, including meat from local cows (totally worth grilling), but note that the store is only open from 9-6.

This was a very affordable, well appointed room. Very modern and convenient to local hikes (Peek-a-boo and Spooky slot canyons - great hike). There was a great little pizza place a few blocks down in the same building as an outfitter. Veg pizza was fantastic!! The check-in process was no contact, handled easily by phone due to the current pandemic. The staff was available by phone if needed. I would DEFINITELY stay here again. The only minor knock is the high wall mounted heater was very loud, but given it was 10 degrees outside it was a minor inconvenience.

Comfortable bed, nice chair and table to eat, great little patio to have a beer and look out at the beautiful scenery. Would highly recommend this place best room this vacation hands down and shower big enough for 2 😉 😉. Also really close to trails.
