Stayed here one night after visiting Capitol Reef NP. This place was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and stocked with nice toiletry items. Even though we were on the front facing Highway 24, it was very quiet. The staff was friendly. Didn't try the restaurant.

USA all the way, But!
This place is middle of the road accommodation. The draw is the position, but that said other places are better in many ways, food for example. The food trough(buffet) is hap hazard, with poor service and dirty plates and glasses. Service is lacking and unprofessional. A casual walk across the road will be well with it in every aspect.
The service staff are lacking in training and general hotel administration. We found them inflexible and lacking in reasonable consideration for our situation, when my wife was I'll.
Torrey has many establishments to choose from so do focus on this one.
You are warned.

A Hidden Gem, Extremely beautiful views.
We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel, the rooms with a view in back were the best. Even tho it seems like more motel like it was wonderful. The room was spacious, comfortable King Bed, clean, we had a sofa as well and refrigerator. Kuerig coffee maker. Some rooms had patios or balcony’s. They have teepees to rent or wagons which would be super cool. The pool was average size but heated. The hot tub was raised up with awesome views. We did not go to restaurant on site so I can t comment of that. If there was more to do in the area we would of stayed longer. We ate at a Mexican restaurant that is attached to the gas/ convenience store but it was soo good and service was great. The salsa was extremely tasty as well. It was very close to capital reef resort.

A diamond in the rough desert landscape
Everybody’s heard of Zion & Bryce Canyon, but few talk about Capitol Reef. We almost didn’t include it in our national parks itinerary. I’m SO glad we didn’t skip it, or we would have missed out on this absolute gem of a hotel. We rented 3 cabins for the family & absolutely loved our stay there. The decor of the cabins looked like a professional decorator had designed them - gorgeous & comfortable in equal measure. Every detail was just perfect. The beds were extremely comfortable, the towels large & flufy, the bathroom amenities were top quality. I would absolutely return to the Capitol Reef Resort & maybe try staying in one of the other unique accommodations - a covered wagon or teepee.

So lovely! Right outside of Capitol Reef National Park. I loved this place so much!
Same as title of my review. I loved that they lit the fires at night and folks just came out to sit around, make new friends and turn off the phone...I will go back in the fall for sure! I didn't try the restaurant, but the menu looked nice. The drive through Capitol Reef was spectacular!
