A great find
We are so glad that we stayed here. We arrived after a long day’s drive and there was a bit of a problem finding the reception desk, probably a combination of poor signage and our tiredness. That apart, our room had a great view, was clean and comfortable. The resort is very convenient for getting to Capitol Reef National Park, probably the quietest of Utah’s National Parks. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel both days that we stayed there. The meals were fine and reasonably priced. Much better value than a lot of places that we have stayed at. Service was very good, especially the lady at breakfast who made sure our coffee cups were always full and Shaun, the restaurant manager, who was very attentive, with a good sense of humour. If we ever get back to that part of the world we would have no hesitation in staying here again.

In love with the sunrise!
We got in late and left early, but I would stay here again just for the view of the sunrise. The beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. Looked out the window in the morning and saw beautiful colors in the sky, so we grabbed up the blankets and walked outside, and there it was. One of those moments that stick with you.

I read another review about the power going out while they were in the hot tub. The power went out while we were staying, but it was not dramatic at all. We were in our lovely room with a view of the mountain. The rooms appear to have been recently renovated as they have granite counters. Everything is spotless and it is nice to unload your car from in front of your room. There is a nice kitchenette area. There was a small table and even a recliner, we enjoyed our stay. It is very close to Capitol Reef National Park.

Superb setting and great location! Basic breakfast for 10 dollars. Noisy fridge and aircon - switch both off. Small bathrooms. Lots of parking and friendly service. Decent stay. The views make this place!

Our room did not look like the photo, but it was still a lovely stay. The views of the cliffs were stunning and the room comfortable. About 8 inches of snow fell during our stay and the power went out. Sitting in the hot tub in the dark while snow fell was heavenly. The staff was helpful figuring out travel routes after the storm. My only suggestion would be to add towel bars to the sink area.
