Drove in from Vegas so got there VERY late but the guy who checked us in was very friendly and helpful and welcoming. We were extremely impressed with how comfortable the bed was and when we got up the next morning we opened our patio curtains to a beautiful view. We had breakfast at the on site restaurant both days, which was very good. We had Kathie as our waitress both days and she was extremely helpful and accommodating with our requests and was very attentive. We have no complaints about our stay at all and would stay there again.

We had breakfast there which was good. Also went at sat at one the fire pits they have going at night. Would recommend to others. There is a really good pizza place right across the street too.

Interesting and different expereince, but time of year could make a huge difference

The experience would be far different with people next door and walking about with canvas walls, one pool for the entire resort, one relatively small restaurant, other facilities that would be far noisier and crowded at another time. However, when we stayed in late August we caught a break with the staff unable to explain the lull, looking forward to busier times. We stayed in the wagon and it was a fun, unique experience. The most consistent sound was nature (frogs, crickets, etc). Again, because it was so empty, we had a natural gas campfire and chairs to ourselves. The wagon does not have a bathroom, but the heater (it got cold one night) and AC (hot during the day) worked very well. The bed was roomy and comfortable, and because we did not need the bunkbeds we set our suitcases on them. If you are bringing kids or additional luggage you would have a lot of trouble finding anyplace to put it. Plenty of pillows and lighting, although no chair or seating. You sit on the beds, awkwardly. The unattached bathroom is very nice, private, clean, well stocked with plenty of hot water in a convenient location. We walked the grounds and thought the cabins offered lot of variety and the teepees were distinctive, although I would not want to have to get up and down from the bed on the floor. Restaurant has a moderate menu, and the three meals we had there were all fine. Both the resort and the restaurant are the closest to the national park, with the visitor's center ten miles away.

Paid $450 for a cabin for 5 people. Extremely cramped. Air conditioner leaked. Complained. Was told turn it off because it was frozen and restart in 60 minutes. We did this. Later in evening air conditioner leaked again. At 9:30 at night had to move 3 kids to different location due to constant dripping. Horribly inconvenient. The cabin door locked but with a not so strong tug could open cabin without using key. They could not fix it. Upon my personal inspection could see the door was damaged and unlikely a new problem. No value here. Go elsewhere

This is a motel, not a resort
