Convenient, well priced & comfy with good options for accomodations
We picked this hotel due to the proximity to Capitol Reef NP & for the fact it had nice unobstructed views of the red rocks behind the hotel. We had a room for one night in the block on the right at the back of the parking lot, which was perfect as it was easy access & you can park right outside the door to your room. Check in was nice & pleasant (I’ve never had any issues as always book direct with hotels rather than through comparison/booking sites – the peace of mind is better than saving $20 in my opinion), with friendly staff & a nice reception area.
The room was large and clean with 2 comfy queen beds & a balcony overlooking the rocks which was lovely. The balcony had a sort of outdoor carpet on it & a couple of chairs to sit & take in the views. We didn’t spend a massive amount of time in the room due to exploring through the day, then having a meal at the on-site restaurant & then leaving early the following morning, but we did enjoy the stay & would come back again when passing through.
The only slight negative to be aware of is that the photos of the resort pool/hottub look very slick & high end, but the location of the pool is not quite as awesome as the pics make it look. There are buildings around & while it's still nice, it's not quite as upmarket as the pictures make it look.

Stunning views all over
This place is the nicest hotel in the area and has amazing views. Great for families, couples, or a friends trip. Fun options for staying from teepees, to wAgons, and luxury cabins. The amenities are okay but you will spend most your time exploring the gorgeous outdoors. I highly recommend the horseback riding as well.
We stayed in a teepee and the room was a little hot in the day. The separate bathrooms are nice as well. My parents stayed in one of the cabins and it was very nice if you are looking something a little more luxurious.
The restaurant is just ok, fine for breakfast.

Great place to stay!
Stayed for the weekend. Great service from check in to check out. Booked a room with a balcony and the view was amazing. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony with my morning coffee, and in the evening to enjoy a beer. Our room was very quiet but the AC was a little loud when it came on. I always take ear plugs on trips, so it didn’t bother me. I’d definitely stay here again, maybe try a teepee or wagon, but will most likely book the balcony room again because the view and quietness were fantastic!

Absolutely loved our red rock view cabin!
We stayed in a two bedroom cabin with a spectacular view off the back deck. These are so nice and air conditioned, too! Our cabin had 1 1/2 baths, a full fridge, two burner stove top and sink with dishes. We did not cook here, but we got take out each night and enjoyed it on our deck. The couch in the den area makes out into a bed, and my son said it was comfy! The beds were super comfy. It made us imagine what living in a tiny house is like, but they are so nice and new that we hated to leave. It is the closest accommodations to the national park. Loved it!

Very nice spot
We stayed here a couple of nights. It is ideal. Right outside the park. A nice pool. A great view from our room. Rooms have a little fridge to keep our cooler stuff cold. Definitely worth it. Next time we might stay in a Calistoga wagon!
