We stayed here for 2 nights in January 2019 and it was pretty much our favourite accomodation throughout our whole 6 week USA trip! The staff were extremely lovely and helpful, our room was very clean and well decorated. We were also upgraded to a balcony room so had gorgeous views! The restaurant was great, being winter everything is shut in the town and we arrived quite late on our first night, 15 mins before restaurant closing time, but they were still extremely friendly and happy to feed us! Food was great, a few different choices and well priced. Absolutely LOVED the hot tub on our second night, perfect temperature and not many others staying in the resort at the time so we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Great location right in the middle of lots of hikes and trails. Some are super close and others are just a short drive away. We would definitely stay here again, maybe in the summer to try out the teepees!

Great view of mountain; cows wandering through parking lot

Clean room, great view of mountains right out the window. Hotel restaurant was okay, decent buffet breakfast. Not lots of other choices around to eat out. We were eating dinner our first night there, and a line of cows began filing across the parking lot (they'd been grazing outside our mountain view balcony window). We were there in October, and it rained and snowed. So no desire to try the outdoor hottub. All in all, I'd stay here again. Not luxury, like a Hilton or Marriott kind of stay. The website pictures make it look really good. They aren't misleading, but they make it look like it's more than it is, if that makes sense.

The resort is at entrance of Capitol Reef National Park and we visited it in November. It was unusually cold and windy,so we did not get to enjoy the hot tub or the fire pits. However, the heating in the cabin was pretty good, so it felt cozy in this beautifully decorated little house. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, shower was modern. The restaurant was nice and the food there was good. Our room was really spacious and include good-quality free WiFi and a flat-screen TV. On one of the channels they showed Road House, the old movie with Patrick Swayze...they don't make such good movies nowadays. The interesting feature was the iPod docking station and the sound system in general that came with many inputs. In the morning we were able to use the coffee maker in the room, while we enjoyed the beautiful mountain views.

Spent two nights in January, when most hotels and restaurants are closed. This is a large and well-maintained facility. Room was clean and comfortable with a deck overlooking the red cliffs. The on-site gym is excellent, with views that are hard to beat! Because only a handful of rooms were occupied, there was no hot breakfast in the restaurant - just cereal, fruit, and toast for $5 - but it was the only restaurant open (except for Subway) in a 10-mile radius. Facilities are extensive - in addition to the gym there are laundry facilities, pool (closed in winter), hot tub (year-round).

Hotel was comfortable and very conveniently located which we really appreciated! This way we could go back to the hotel to recoup from hikes and go back out to Capital Reef quite easily, so that is just what we were looking for. Beautiful views from our room. Dining is very average, not great, on site but also the most convenient. I would stay there again.
