Check for steps to your room!!!
Cowboy Village Resort is mostly small cabins near the heart of Jackson. Unfortunately, when I booked through Booking.com, I asked for a studio room . It was not clear during booking that this was one of two rooms above the office. My husband and I are 65+ years old. We had to carry our luggage up 19 steps to our room!! We asked to be switched to a cabin but we’re told “Sorry, that’s what you booked. “ They had a Vacancy sign lit so I assume their were empty cabins. The room was fine but the steps were not!

Great time in Jackson Hole
My wife and I stayed here while spending 2 weeks in Yellowstone and Teton National Parks and our 3 nights here was fantastic. Karen at check-in was very friendly and helpful. She made the process seamless. The cabin was even better than the website portrayed. The cabin and property was very clean. Our cabin had everything we could have needed and was beautiful. Would recommend this location to anyone!!!!!

Grounds are clean, nice looking, clean cabins, although was a little small for 5, would not consider this a resort, pool and cabins biggest highlight, pool was small not as big as website picture suggests. Vehicle parking was ok. Overall was OK.

We stayed in the main lodge in a large room with two queen beds and a bunk bed set. There was lots of room for the four of us including a large bathroom. It was clean and decorated nicely and had plenty of toiletries and towels. Comfortable beds, good temp control for the room, great kitchen area. Be aware though that it is in the upper part of the main lodge and there is an outside stairway to get to the room. It was not a problem for us but something to consider for those who have difficulty with stairs. The surrounding cabins in the resort area looked cozy and cute from the outside. The resort is walking distance to the main town area and to the rodeo. There was hot chocolate, juice, tea, and coffee in the lobby of the main building and some basic fruit and muffins but no formal breakfast which was fine with us since we had the kitchen area in the room and many restaurant choices. Computer and printer were in the main lobby area. The resort staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!

Nice grounds, tired furnishings
I’ll start my review with my first impression of the host. At the check in the gentleman seemed very curt, not very welcoming. He ask for ID and CC which I supplied. He proceeded to manipulate the credit cart with a bic pen as he entered the numbers and ask me to turn it over for him the get the security code. Very odd I thought, maybe they were out of hand sanitizer. We then went to our cabin and found while fairly clean, it was quite cramped and in dire need of new furnishings. I wouldn’t have expected that if the price for the night weren’t so extravagant. At $500.00 a night, i expected a couch that was made in this century and a bed that wasn’t lumpy and worn out. The ice machine was empty as well. That being said, the property grounds were immaculately clean and manicured and the location was fantastic. I’ll look elsewhere thought, the next time we visit Jackson.
