Went to Grand Teton because a neighbor insisted that it was non-negotiable after Yellowstone. Holy cow was he right... The topography of Grand Teton , less than two hours from Yellowstone, is another world. Water meets mountains. It is an astonishing change. The suite at Signal Mountain overlooked the water . Wonderful terrace . Beautiful amenities. Full kitchen. Walking distance to common rooms and dining. Dining options were, even at the beginning of the season, surprisingly varied.....from a very nice and casual bar to a 4?star restaurant(also a camping style store)… Would love to be here in season to take advantage of the amenities... The kind of place that invites fantasies of other possible lives. Wonderful and a little dangerous

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at Signal Mountain Lodge. Our 1-bed cabin was great - comfortable, & cosy even on a frosty morning. You surely cannot beat the stunning views on our walks to breakfast at the Trapper Grill?! Our early morning float trip, booked through the Lodge, was great - more stunning views of the Tetons with animal & bird-spotting as well. We’d definitely stay here again!

Our family stayed here for only one night because we were originally planning on camping. We arrived at the Signal Mountain Campground in the late afternoon, and it was a rainy day. We were all exhausted after camping for days and didn't want to set up out tent in the cold rain and dark, so we went over to the Signal Mountain Lodge to see if there was any space left, not really expecting there to be as it was August and high season in Grand Teton. We also didn't know if it was dog-friendly, and we had our dog with us. At first they said that there weren't any rooms left, but after some arrangements we were able to book a cabin for the night. And yes, it was dog-friendly! (Only the lower-floor cabins were, though). The cabin was clean and cozy. There was a kitchenette and a big window with an amazing view across the lake. The washroom was very clean and I loved the rustic look. Next to the lodge there was a gas station and convenience store. There's also a common room with computers for guests to use. I really wish we could've stayed longer; the lodge seems like such a nice place to stay and relax for a few days!

Stayed for two nights in a two bedroom cabin with our two kids, really nice that everyone had their own beds and we had our own room. Rooms were large, clean overall pretty comfortable. Had a pretty good dinner at the lodge, food was good and prices were reasonable. The views of Teton Mountain range were beautiful and the location of the lodge was centrally located to many of the attractions in the park.

We stayed at Signal Mountain Lodge in early October in a Lake and Mountain View cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable and large. Outside was a patio with deck chairs that faced the lake and Mt. Moran. The view was amazing. There is also a rocky beach that you can walk along. Although pricey it was worth it to us to stay here. There was one restaurant opened and it had a good selection on its menu. This area of the National Park is beautiful and I would definitely stay here again.
