Fabulous location!

The rooms are in wooden cabins and are a reasonably good size with parking right outside each cabin and some with direct lake views. The bed was comfortable but relatively small and there was a good sized safe in the bathroom. Beware that the wildlife comes right upto your front door here, it's that kind of place!
Whilst the welcome at reception was friendly and the accomodation is comfortable the restaurant unfortunately wasn't really upto scratch. Food and wine was overpriced and service was not particularly friendly which is a shame because the restaurant has a beautiful setting overlooking the lake and mountains beyond.
If you don't want to pay the inflated prices for breakfast then there's a very limited grab & go selection in the shop by the petrol station.
Overall this is one of the nicer National Park accomodations that we've stayed in but there is still room for improvement!

Rustic Charm at Signal Mountain Lodge

It was charmingly rustic but had enough electrical outlets for a 21st century traveler. Very convenient for touring the park.

Great hotel with beautiful views

Lower level has a nice view of the lake and mountains. Rooms are walking distance to the main lodge which had a restaurant/bar. There was a long wait to be seated in the restaurant each day for dinner and breakfast. There is not much around this hotel for food options. So make sure you go early to eat or you will be waiting. Overall had a great stay here. There is a gas station and small market located at this location.

Nice place, close to off season so doubt if it would be so nice in the summer Ala crowds and noise.

Not sure how it would be to stay in a lower cabin in terms of noise, etc. We were there end of season and I would worry about boat and other water traffic making it a less appealing place earlier in the year. The kitchen is sparse but there isn't a grocery store nearby so I guess that doesn't matter. Room comfortable enough and like other nearby places, what seems to be price gouging for the benefit of being near / in the park.
Kind of upsetting that there are no reservations for the restaurant and or benefits given to people staying there, like hey you can have a reservation since you are spending $600 a night for something that is really worth more like 200.....

Disappointing for the price

So disappointed in national parks accommodations and price and booking fees on top of it all. Restaurant short staff, staff disgruntled and long waits. Lots closed down during leaf peak! Just all has been frustrating!
