Fairly basic motel, but spotless and well-maintained. A small continental breakfast was available in the room fridge. We were here to photograph the northern lights. The manager was very helpful in suggesting dark nearby places to go to view the aurora. The price was quite reasonable. It was well below zero when we visited, but the motel has outdoor outlets to plug in block heaters in cars. Great place!

We were warmly greeted by Igor who checked us in and upon learning our reservation for the treasure hunt at Black Diamond, he suggested we drive instead of taking the shuttle so we could enjoy a nearby lake that had amazing views of the surrounding mountains. So glad he did because it was beautiful. Our room was spacious and clean and we appreciated the breakfast bowl (yogurt, egg, juice and nutrigrain bar) left in our fridge every morning along with the added items in the lobby. I also liked how it wasn't crowded by the other Denali visitors but off a lil ways but still within 20 min drive to the National Park. Great stay.

Very pleased with our stay here! The hotel is located about 20 minutes from Denali NP. Spacious room, lots of room to move around. We had everything we needed. There was a breakfast basket in the fridge for us. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

We were so lucky to find this little gem in Healy! Stayed here during vacation and could not have been happier with the accommodations. Clean, spacious rooms and very quiet. Megan at the front desk was so nice and helpful. Shared a lot of great information about the area, including restaurants that we might want to check out. I highly recommend Aurora Denali Lodge!

Let me start of by saying if I was staying here in winter I likely would have rated this as 5 stars but given our summer stay I could not. We stayed here after hiking in the national park all day - it was a late arrival and early morning departure. The front desk was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and they had a nice breakfast bowl in the fridge which was amazing when having an early departure the next morning… BUT the HEAT was set to 80 degrees in the hall/hotel which made the rooms so uncomfortable and impossible for sleeping! All of the rooms had the window open, one could see from outside. After a long day, when you’re only going to have about 6 hours of sleep max, you want to be comfortable and this was the furthest thing from it.
