Walk to the Ferry terminal

The rooms are clean, comfortable (except see below) and spacious. My only complaint is that the pillows need to be replaced. They are lumpy and unpleasant. I like a room with reading lights next to the bed -- on both sides. Our room had that and that made me happy

Great view of the harbor, small beach (don’t swim…it’s an industrial harbor), and short walk to the ferry and pier stores/restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

Good selection of television options, too. Our dog enjoyed the floor to ceiling window, where she could watch all the activity. Even if you don't get a room on the water side, this hotel is a real and unexpected gem in a bustling town where choices are somewhat limited. The attached restaurant delivers local farm to table foods. Bonus is it is convenient to Hurricane Ridge and the entire Olympic Peninsula.

Beds were nicely firm and amenities were as expected at this price point. Not a lot to do at the hotel itself, but close to the wharf and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Only reason for lowered star was the lack of elevator for suitcases and no breakfast offering available.

Be Careful with Room Selection

Granted, otherwise the view would look at the parking lot, but still. The room gets almost no light. As far as I can see, this is the only room blocked like this. Why would you even build a room like this? Oh well. But when you make a reservation be sure to ask for a room that's not blocked by a staircase!
