Location is the best part

I will definitely say the highlight of staying there was that it was right next to the pier, and you could smell the ocean even from the parking lot. Just be aware that you might end up with sea gull droppings on your car.

Pleasantly Surprised.

Picked the Red Lion because - why not? You know what you’re getting with the other available chains in the area, figured I’d take a chance.
It was clean, decent size, good bathroom with exceptional water pressure. Internet was horrible - ok for email-only, I ended up turning it off and streamed via cellular.
In reality it was probably as a 3.5-3.75 star experience, but as I said I was pleasantly surprised and will book here again when I have to return.

Horribly unfriendly front desk girls and extremely overcharged!

The front desk girl during check-in was unfriendly and gave us the incorrect information regarding the price of the room. She told us that it was $329 plus taxes and fees for two nights. The front desk girl during check-out was equally unfriendly and gave us our receipt for almost $800 for our two night stay. Had we been given the correct information about the price, we would have found somewhere else to stay. There were many other options. We are extremely unhappy about the misinformation we received regarding the cost of the room. We definitely won't ever go back to this hotel. This experience has left a horrible taste in our mouths and we will never consider any Red Lion Hotel in the future.

Driving into town, we were not expecting high quality accommodations, but this hotel was exactly what we wanted. Clean, modern, incredible beds and shower heads, polite and welcoming staff, marvelous soap, and quiet and comfortable rooms. Could have been Marriott family run… We were very pleased, as was the other couple we included in our trip. The perfect anchor for our Olympic Peninsula trip!

NOT WORTH IT!!!!

The room itself was decent & clean, bed was comfortable.BUT, if you're willing to stay here and pay the RIDICULOUSLY HIGH rate then pay More for a VIEW ROOM, that is the only thing that made this stay somewhat worth it :(
