Beautiful resort with great sports club and facilities- staff very accommodating and friendly. Nice grounds and areas surrounding the resort. Great to have a beautiful balcony overlooking the lake. Front desk check-in easy and staff very helpful.

Spacious room, excellent service, a wonderful break from ordinary life. Some rooms are only accessible by stairs. Bell service was exceptional. I was there for the Winderwander, and it is much per than it was two years ago. Breakfast wasn't included, but the meal was excellent.

My wife and I scheduled a last minute getaway and had a wonderful time. Melissa at the front desk was able to prearrange flowers in our room, and was so friendly upon arrival. We also enjoyed the beautiful grounds, took a nice walk and had a great dinner. We will definitely be returning!

Gorgeous resort, great athletic facilities, and amazing staff/service. We brought a pup and the resort is very dog friendly. Everything you need for a relaxing long weekend only a short drive away from DC. Loads of good wineries worth exploring in that area as well. Hope to be back soon!

It was our first time staying at Boar's Head. I had mixed feelings at first due to no one to offer help from the front desk. I had crunches and my wife helped as much as possible. A lady seen us struggling with our bags and offered to help. She was dropping off paperwork at the end of her shift. She helped us get the bags to our room, but was kind and asked if she could help with anything else before leaving. The next day My wife and I seen the same lady at the spa pool. We asked her name and thanked her again. When we found out that she doesn't work at the hotel, but at the spa we were speechless. Her next words surprised my wife and me. My name is Missy and I work at the spa, but here at Boar's Head we are one team working together. We want to make everyone comfortable and relaxed. All we want is the guest to return again and have a great experience. We were going out to dinner and my wife asked where she could get a pedicure so late in the day. Missy to the rescue! She returned with a lady named Diane. Diane was due to be off at 4 pm, but agreed to stay longer to do my wife's pedicure. The rest of our stay was great other then housekeeping not cleaning and restocking bathroom supplies and problems with the A.C. We just want to say what a pleasure it was to meet Missy and Diane. Missy, thank you for all of your help and making us feel comfortable and relaxed during our stay! We will be back and look forward to booking some spa appointments! Sincerely, Wayne
