Great location in Tropic; 10 miles to Bryce Canyon and 10 miles to Kodachrome basin. Several decent restaurants within walking distance. Fridge, microwave and a Kuerig style coffeemaker. Great king bed and bedding; gobs of towels. Staying in Tropic is like staying on a real town rather than the feel of Bryce Canyon city

Nice little spot with all the amenities
I was a bit dubious about this place from the pictures on their website (dated) and some of the less than 4 star reviewers. But the place was pretty dang nice for the value. I was there in the off season but it was still probably 1/2 full. The Carpet, paint and some of the fixtures had been updated. The linens on the bed were really nice and the bed itself was comfortable.
The light fixture were very dated and tub needs to be replaced soon. There were only two minuses for me: 1, the bathroom was freezing! The map they gave me (I checked in after hours) sent me to the wrong room and I woke up the occupants and scared them quit badly. I feel so bad about that. After checking the key envelope I got to the correct room. I'm sure someone else got my map and scared someone else. I guess I should mention that the driveway is gravel as well.
There are two very nice restaurants within walking distance and one about a mile away. I ate at IDK BBQ and it was VERY good food. I will stay here again when I visit Bryce because it's away from the Ruby's Inn which is very busy and congested.

Bryce canyon weekend
We traveled to the area for a three day weekend. Spent time with hikes at Red Canyon. Kodachrome State Park and Willis Creek. Such a beautiful area. Tropic is a tiny town with great location for what we were doing. I booked this motel not expecting much but figuring we'd be too tired to care. Don't let outside fool you. This motel is a gem and we will for sure return if in area again. The young man who checked us in was very helpful. It is a motel. But room was spotless. Lots of pillows. Updated. Fridge. Microwave. Little extras rarely see in budget motels. I'm not sure why the reviews are low. It's a sweet motel for an excellent price.

Off road trip
The red Ledges was a nice surprise, we were greeted by Kace the manager/owner
Rooms were spacious, very clean, large room with very comfortable King bed.
Room was very quiet, due to COVID-19 breakfast was provided in room.
I will definitely stay again, they went out of the way to help us when a family member passed away and we were on Side by sides without trucks and needed a car, when none available Kace gave her car to our friends to get home .
Their are good people in this world!

Very nice motel type Inn.
Great service the front desk guy was very helpful about local places to go visit.
Located in a small town/village? Near Bryce Canyon . Great views of the escalante mountains in distance. Breakfast was lacking in choice. They didn't have any lactose free milk, so couldn't have cereals. But there's a couple of places to eat in Tropic and Bryce Canyon village. We were lucky enough to have been there before the tourist season begins.
