The White Chief Mountain Lodge is located in Fish Camp, CA, just two miles to the south entrance of Yosemite National Park. The establishment dates back to the 1950s and sits nestled among the pines at an elevation of 5,000 feet. The rooms are basic accommodations but they have undergone recent renovations with new carpet, beds, draperies, and shower enclosures. The privately owned lodge is a seasonal accommodation open from mid-March to mid-November. The establishment is non-smoking, however, there are designated areas outside where smoking is permitted. The lodge also has a picnic area and there is plenty of parking for guests.
There are 26 rooms on the property and they all include a television, mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Other amenities available to guests include internet, daily housekeeping, and free toiletries. Most of the rooms have a queen bed and will accommodate two people. There are a handful of rooms that have a double and a single bed to sleep up to three. In addition, the lodge also has larger cabin-style rooms with two queens and a terrace that will sleep up to four guests.
