When you have decided where you want to go on your National Park Vacation get information on activities, places of interests and sights. You can do this by going to the National Park website for the park you want, contacting the local Chamber of Commerce or lodges around the park you are going to.

Make a list of the activities you want to do and see. Group the ones that are close to each other. Find the national park accommodations that are in the area of the activities you want to participate in. This will save you travel time and you will also be able to get information from your lodging host.

Make accommodation reservations as soon as you know that you are going. It is suggested that you make your reservations at least 10-12 months in advance to ensure you get the type of lodging that you want.

Explore your lodging options. There are many types of national park accommodations offered in and around National Parks, camping, cabins, hotels/motels, and full-fledged resorts are just a few of the options you will have.
