The extremely capable Fat Trucks can go just about anywhere and cover virtually any terrain, easily treading over land and water, snow, ice and mud. Crawling over boulders, crossing rivers and driving on lake surfaces.
Denali Fat Truck tours provide guests a unique opportunity to explore the Alaskan Backcountry in total comfort, free from the worry of harsh and unpredictable weather, wildlife, or annoying bugs and insects.
Several tour options are available depending on your schedule and quest for adventure.
Free shuttle service is available to the area around Healy and Denali entrance and extends approximately 10-miles south of Denali entrance to the Denali Cabins area, but does not include areas as far south as the Carlo Creek area.

Description
Otto Lake / Upper Lookout / Dry Creek
This 2 ½ hour tour will take visitors into the back country wilderness along the outside border of Denali National Park. Explore an old mining trail as you advance through the wild to a scenic vista with incredible views and photo opportunities. From there you will descend back down to ‘play’ in the Dry Creek and Frozen Palisades area where rock cliffs loom overhead and appear to defy gravity. Finally you will put the Fat Truck’s amphibious capabilities to the max as you drive out on the top of Otto Lake!
You will be outfitted with 2-way headsets and your guide will share with you a wealth of knowledge on Alaska, Denali National Park and the surrounding area. Tours are available year round. There is a 2-person minimum and each truck will carry a maximum of 6 guests.
