Novel House

Just a quick walk from the visitor center at Zion's main entrance, this quaint Bed and Breakfast offers couples a different kind of lodging experience during their National Park Vacation. Comprised of 10 individually decorated rooms representing great authors of the last two hundred years, guests come away from this Bed and Breakfast relaxed and refreshed. The views are another major attraction of the Novel House; Red Rock views can be found from nearly every corner of the building. The Novel House is the place to stay during your next romantic getaway at the Zion area.

Novel House Inn is smoke free, and although we love small children and pets,
we are not able to accommodate either.

Louis L'Amour
The king-sized Ponderosa pine bed, powder-horn handled wardrobe and Doc Yak's rockers make the old west comes alive in this room with a private bathroom.
Jane Austen
The feeling of Pride and Prejudice and England in the 18th century emanate from the Mansfield Park four-poster bed and nightstands. This room also has a private bathroom.
C.S. Lewis
Narnia comes to mind in this large room with a huge era inspired wardrobe that, at times, leads to a mirror world. A queen-sized four-poster bed, relaxing day bed, writing desk and easy chairs help define the mood for the C.S. Lewis room. This room also has a private bathroom.
Mark Twain
The Riverboat queen bed helps one to imagine floating down the Mississippi River in style. The writing desk, wash stand and rocking chairs of the era help set the tone. This room has a private bathroom.
Charles Dickens
Queen-sized bed, table with wing backed chairs and other finishing touches bring to mind the words David Copper-field. This room has a private bathroom.
Walt Whitman
Whitman would have felt at home in this 1840 themed room featuring a king-sized Allegheny bed, Bedford table and chairs, Cumberland wardrobe and a roll-top desk. This room also has a private bathroom.
Rudyard Kipling
Cuddle up with a good book, like The Jungle Book perhaps, on the cozy day bed and sleep like a child in the queen-sized Empire bed that gives the ambiance of India during its colonial period in the 1800's. This room has a private bathroom.
R.L. Stevenson
This room rings of old Scotland with a sleigh-style king-sized Celtic bed and high-backed wing chairs as well as other details defining the ambiance of Stevenson. This room has a private bathroom.
Tolstoy
Bronte
The intensity of Wuthering Heights is present in the Bronte Room as well as the romance and mystery of Jane Eyre. Enjoy the king-sized Victorian bed, loveseat, wardrobe and table with chairs that is reminiscent of a time gone by. A romantic themed gift basket will greet you when you choose the Bronte Room. This room also has a private bathroom.
Tolstoy
Leo Tolstoy's real name was Count Nikkolaevich Tolstoy. The Tolstoy Room offers a king-sized bed, czarist desk, large wardrobe and easy chairs that even Anna Karenina herself wouldn't scoff at. This room has a private bathroom.
