Big Bear Motel 
BIG BEAR MOTEL is an AAA rated motel located in Cody, Wyoming, the gateway entrance city just 52 scenic miles east of Yellowstone National Park. (There is nothing but beautiful scenery between us and the park entrance gate.)
The one hour trip from Cody to Yellowstone is through the Wapiti Valley, which Teddy Roosevelt called "the most scenic 50 miles in the world."
Our motel is conveniently located on Cody's scenic west side, with a super view of the mountains, on Highway 14-16-20 (Yellowstone Park Highway). We are the first AAA rated motel you will encounter en route to Cody from Yellowstone.
We are less than 1 minute from both Old Trail Town and the Cody Nite Rodeo (tickets sold in motel office), and only 3 minutes from the world-famous Buffalo Bill Historical Center — Cody's three major attractions.
The motel site is roomy and quiet, and we are very easy to find.

Howdy! We offer a few different types of rentals besides our Big Bear Motel rooms. Big Bear Town House is located right in town and sleeps 8 comfortably; full kitchen, 1.5 baths, cable televisions, king bed, double bed, bunk, and a pull-out. Full laundry facility on site. Wall to wall carpet, walk to stores and down town.
Little Bear Ranch/stables is located just outside of the city on 5 acres with views that are breathtaking; full oak kitchen, vaulted ceilings, large deck, 2 full baths with sit-in shower, satellite televisions, and sleeping for 7. Want something a little different or looking to stay more then a couple of nights? This just may be for you. |

Regular check-in times are 1pm - 6:30pm. For your convenience we do offer 24 hour check-in. Please call if arriving outside of regular check-in times to make arrangements.
In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than 24 hours, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your first nights reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund will be made.
