Fishing
Fishing is allowed in most lakes of the national parks. There are varying regulations; some parks require a fishing license while others do not. All parks have fishing guidelines that you may find at the visitor’s centers and should be reviewed before embarking on a fishing expedition and followed closely to guard the parks habitat.
Mountain Biking
Even though bikers are rarely permitted to ride off-trail or on foot paths in the national parks, it's still probable to find a great path or two to bike on. However most of the popular national parks do allow bikers to ride along paved roads. This is a great way to slow down and really see much that can be missed from inside a car.
Snow Skiing
Many national parks are in areas that offer downhill skiing or cross-country. These are extraordinary places popular for exceptional snow and terrific resorts.
