The Stonewall Jackson Hotel is located in the historic downtown Staunton, VA. Staunton is where the 28th president, Woodrow Wilson was born. It also has five separate historic districts. One exciting district includes the American Shakespeare Center featuring the Blackfriars Playhouse which is the last existing reproduction of the original Shakespeare's Blackfriars Theater. Museums such as the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and the Museum of American Frontier Culture are other favorites. The downtown corridor has been historically preserved and favors the Victorian era architecture.

The Stonewall Jackson itself was one of the original hotels in Staunton, VA. A 2005 remodel brought the hotel back to its glory by keeping with as much of the original detail as possible. Each room houses architectural artwork representing the theme of downtown Staunton. It is a full service hotel that provides a spacious business center including 8,500 feet of meeting space. King or Queen Guestroom in the Historic Wing:

Each of these rooms is unique in its configuration with the same amenities as the rooms in the new wing of the hotel. They consist of a king-sized pillow top bed and a comfy cushioned chair. A writing desk makes it easy to do business or write postcards about your visit to Shenandoah National Park. The rooms in the historic wing are moderately sized, but what they lack in spaciousness, they make up for in charm.

Queen - Queen Guestroom in the New Wing
Double queen rooms are in the new wing of the hotel. They are spacious and consistently configured. Amenities are the same in each guestroom. They include free wireless internet, coffee maker, cable TV, iron, ironing board and a hair dryer.

One Bedroom Suites
The four One Bedroom Suites are in the historic wing of the hotel. Each has two rooms that are connected by a privacy door. One room has a king-sized pillow-top bed, private bath and oversized windows. The connecting room appears as a living room with two reading chairs, couch and a coffee table. An inconspicuous queen-sized Murphy bed is tucked up against the wall with its own private bathroom as well.

Named after Jackson's trusty horse, Sorrel's restaurant is our evening casual dining area conveniently located just off our lobby. Specializing in comfort foods and seasonal specialties, our ever changing menu will offer something for everyone. Whether stopping by the restaurant for a pre-theatre cocktail, or to enjoy a glass of wine by the fire from our eclectic wine selection, our professional, friendly service in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere will be certain to warm your spirits.

If Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, you will surely feel like a VIP while enjoying our Breakfast offerings in 24Market. 

Breakfast is served daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. With our expanded Sunday breakfast hours of 7:00 am to 12:00 p.m., we include an omelet station and waffle station.
