A. April through October is the prime time to visit North Cascades National Park. Another popular time to visit is during the summer, mid-June through September this is the driest time of the season. During July and sometimes into August their still remains snow covered areas in the higher elevations.

 

Q. Is there lodging available in the park?
A. Stehekin Landing Resort is part of the North Cascades National Park Complex and is accessible only by the Lady of the Lake Ferry Boat, float plane, or mountain trail. A secluded and scenic lodging choice. Ross Lake Resort is in the recreational area of the North Cascades National Park. Located at Ross Lake just north of Ross Dam. It is the only facility on the lake and characterized by its remoteness (no direct road access).

A. You can drive along the picturesque highways that display the scenic beauty of North Cascades. The North Cascades Highway is acclaimed for winding around vast alpine trees, and behold the local wildlife. Your options consist of Highway 2, WA State Route 20 and Interstate 90 all lead to the North Cascades Scenic Highway.
