Rails to Trails Package – (May 8 to October 20, 2010)
This 4 day, 3 night package highlights the best of Colorado's southwest from Mesa Verde National Park to historic areas such as Silverton and Durango via Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. The Durango portion of this package can be scheduled at the beginning or end of this package itinerary.
- 2 consecutive nights of standard lodging for 2 including a full breakfast buffet each morning (a substitution of a “to go” breakfast the second morning at no extra charge is available) (Kiva Room upgrade available)
- half-day guided tour of Cliff Palace and neighboring cliff dwellings and archeology sites
- 1 night lodging in Durango at the Hampton Inn for 2 including full breakfast buffet for 2 (add a second night stay for an additional charge)
- 2 coach class seats from Durango to Silverton (historic mining town) on the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad with a 2 hour layover in Silverton to explore and eat lunch (not provided) (total duration: 9 hours 15 minutes) (upgrade available)
- transportation is NOT provided between Mesa Verde National Park and the Hampton Inn in Durango (approximately an hour and a half driving time)

All package reservations require a full length of stay credit card deposit, due at time of booking.
Cancellation:
Please cancel by 3pm, local hotel time, 7 days prior to arrival in order to avoid a 1 night cancellation or no show fee.
In addition, there are no refunds issued for train reservations cancelled less than 72 hours of your reserved date. Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to reserved date will be charged a fee of $20.00 per adult ticket and $10.00 per child ticket.
