Q. When is the best time to vacation at Lake Mead?
A. The best time to visit Lake Mead is in the spring and fall when temperatures reach comfortably warm degrees. However, the area is beautiful any time of the year. If you come in the summer you will want to plan activities during the morning and evening hours as daytime temps average 100 degrees. In any case you should be prepared for warm weather.
Q. Is there a restriction on the number of people allowed on a houseboat at Lake Mead?
A. Since Lake Mead is a National Recreation Area government rules apply. The rules allow for no more than 12 people on a moving houseboat, no matter the size.
