Surrounded by Joshua Trees, yuccas and all manner of Mojave desert cactus, this colorful contemporary hideaway has 2 covered patios. The plant-filled private patio off of the kitchen area has an outdoor eating area, barbecue grill, and a lounging area that can be used as an outside bedroom with views of the amazing stars through the filigree cover. A glass enclosed private outdoor bathtub with hot and cold running water is an evening delight. The livingroom sliding door opens to another patio with lounge chairs and outdoor fireplace and hammock.

Decorated by Rosebud Ruby Star artist Sandy Rosen, the Casa is desert eclectic, colorful and comfortable with a woodburning fireplace, a CD/DVD player and TV in the high-ceiling mahagony-beam living room where a queensized bed offers total comfort sleeping or lounging accomodations.

The light and spacious bedroom has a queensized bed, woodshuttered windows, and a huge walk-in closet. The bathroom has a tub with shower. All linens and towels are included. The Casa is heated and evaporatively cooled. Longer term guests may have access to an attached laundry room. Storage of gear is available.

Arrangements can be made for horseback riding. A wonderful massage therapist is available to come to the Casa. A personal chef is also available to prepare special meals.

As a rule, the Casa Rosita is available for a minimum of 2 evenings, but is most economical for stays of 3 evenings or more. Excepting holiday periods which may be higher.
