Headwaters Lodge & Cabins is about 5 miles from Grand Teton National Park; a great location if you plan on seeing Grand Teton and Yellowstone! Headwaters Lodge & Cabins is on the banks of the scenic Snake River. Incidentally the name “Snake” River seems to be derived from an S-shaped sign that the Shoshone Indians made with their hands to mimic salmon.

Today Headwaters Lodge & Cabins is an all-season resort with log-and-luxury ambience. The main lodge at Headwaters Lodge & Cabins offers an attractive dining room and double sided fireplace as well as a gift shop and a grocery store located adjacent to a service station.

The log cabins at Headwaters Lodge & Cabins are private yet easily accessible, situated amongst the pines and close to all of the recreational activities that make your Grand Teton vacation such an unforgettable experience. The Headwaters Cabins offer either two queen beds, or a king bed and sitting area. All room include a patio and rocking chairs for enjoying the summer evening.

In the summer visitors and guest enjoy float trips, horseback rides, and excellent fishing in Polecat Creek or the Snake River. Many activities abound just outside the doors. The arena is vast with rivers, mountains and valleys that encompass an endless opportunity for all. Summer allows for easy and safe access into the outdoors for fishing, hiking, and biking, or climbing and boating in the Tetons.

Wildlife abounds around Headwaters Lodge & Cabins. Watch as herds of elk and deer migrate through the vast meadows near the ranch, and forage for food along streams and rivers. Bison like to lounge around in the fertile green pastures surrounding the ranch and it is not uncommon to see a Bald Eagle soaring through azure skies.

Cancellation Policy:

Payment of two nights stay is required as an advance deposit with any remaining balance due upon arrival. Cancellations must be made at least 6 days prior to scheduled check in date or the deposit will be forfeited. A $25 cancellation penalty will be assessed for cancellation anytime.
