The most consistent fishing right now is in the surrounding lakes. Jackson Lake inside Grand Teton National Park has been fishing very well. Look for feeding fish in the shallows off of points and rocky shelves. Streamers in olive, white, yellow, or black fished on either a floating or intermediate sink-tip line work best. With the fish in shallower water this time of year, a boat is not necessary, just helpful. Find a nice point and start wading the bank! The primary catch is Mackinaw (Lake Trout) in the 16-20 inch class, but the Brown Trout and Cutthroat have been feeding aggressively as well. The lake is low, so if you are boating watch out for rocks are normally hidden by deeper water.
