Located on the pristine shores of Whitefish Lake, just minutes from the alpine village of Whitefish, the Lodge is surrounded by mountains and the natural grandeur of northwest Montana. The Lodge is just minutes from Glacier National Park and the slopes of Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort, and offers guests the choice of comfortable luxury hotel rooms or exquisite condominium suites overlooking Whitefish Lake.

Description of Rooms

Comfort is our priority. Wood, stone and native materials bring the colors and textures of Montana inside. The spacious interiors of our guest rooms open to private decks, each with a picturesque view. The Lodge at Whitefish Lake features a complementing choice of deluxe suites in the Lodge and spacious lakefront condominiums which adjoin the Lodge.

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake Studio Suites are oversized one room suites of 600 – 650 square feet with one King or two Queen beds, fireplace with sitting area, balcony, efficiency kitchen with mini-fridge, microwave, bar sink, and a four piece bathroom with a soaking tub.  These units are beautifully appointed in slate floors, granite counter tops, and wood accents.  There are three view types, standard view, partial lake view, and lakefront.  A luxury home away from home.

Lodge Suites include a chose of Standard King, Studio Suites, Loft Suites, Lake Front One Bedroom Suites, or the Flathead Suite.

Lakeside Condominiums

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake’s spacious 2 and 3 bedroom lakefront condominiums provide a home away from home that’s just next door to all the amenities of the Lodge. Enjoy a spectacular Whitefish lake sunset from your private deck. All units feature a full kitchen, bar and dining room. Sizes range from 1300 to 2300 square feet.

Viking Lodge

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake’s all new Viking Lodge is located east of the main Lodge on the Viking Creek Preserve and connected by a sky bridge over Wisconsin Avenue. The Viking Creek Preserve is a 30 acre conservation easement managed by the Whitefish Lake Institute, protecting the sensitive wetlands to Whitefish Lake.  This Preserve was born through a $2 million dollar donation made by the Averill family to conserve the water quality of Whitefish Lake.  Directly behind the Viking Lodge are nature trails and information plaques throughout talking about the wetlands.

Guests of the Viking Lodge will enjoy rooms of 400 square feet with one king or 2 queen beds and include a fireplace, flat screen HDTV, mini fridge and microwave as well as a four piece bathroom.  Viking rooms are beautifully appointed with slate floors, granite countertops and wood accents.  The Viking Lodge also has a private lounge with rock gas fireplace, flat screen HDTV’s, and cozy seating area overlooking an outdoor hot tub and gas fire pit overlooking the Viking Preserve.  Animals abound in this preserve and guests have reported seeing deer, elk, moose, mountain lions, and bears from the comfort of their guest suite.  Rooms not overlooking the preserve have views of the Whitefish Mountain Resort.

NOTES FOR NIGHTLY SLIP USE: There is no boat ramp or trailer storage on site. Boats are put in at Whitefish City Beach and trailers can be stored safely at Can-Am motors, just blocks from the Lodge.

Cancellation Policy:

A deposit of the first nights stay is charged at the time of reservation.

Lodge: This deposit is fully refundable until 72 hours prior to arrival - cancellation within 72 hours of arrival will forfeit the full deposit.

Condominiums: This deposit is fully refundable until 14 days prior to arrival. 14 days prior to arrival, the full remaining balance is due and is non-refundable.
