St. Mary Lodge and Resort

 

St. Mary Lodge and Resort is Glacier National Park's most complete and centrally located guest facility. Since opening in 1932 the Resort at Glacier is a great base camp for a spectacular vacation in the great Rocky Mountain back country. Wildlife viewing is only one of the many things there is to do from St. Mary’s; if you are seeking a simple, relaxing getaway, this area is for you.

Great Bear Lodge

The Great Bear Lodge opened in 2001. This lodge is the newest addition to the Resort. The Great Bear lodge offers luxury rooms that feature large bathroom with a shower/tub combo, wet bar area w/mini-fridge, hand sink and coffee maker. Standard rooms have two queen beds sleeping up to four adults, and each room comes with satellite TV and A/C. Rooms have great views.


This three-story building contains 48 guestrooms and 13 suites, each with either one king bed or two queen beds, air conditioning, satellite TVs, granite counters, mini wet-bars and private decks with exceptional views of the park. One-room suites at the Great Bear Lodge offer an expanded living area with leather sofa sleepers, gas fireplace, and Jacuzzi tubs in the bathroom.

West Lodge

Like the East Lodge the West Lodge is a single story, intimate feeling lodge. The West lodge features 24 guestrooms with one or two queen beds, air conditioning, a desk and chair. With granite finished touches and lodge style furnishings this is a cozy, romantic getaway for couples, or friends, you’re sure to make memories here!

Glacier Cabins

Currently these cabins are undergoing a complete remodel and will be available for the 2008 season. These quaint little cabins located near Divide creek have one bedroom with a queen bed. The main room has a sofa bed and a full kitchenette. New additions to these cabins include a flat screen TV, private deck, and new flooring and fixtures.

Pinnacle Cottages

These luxury cottages are self-contained, two bedroom units with a fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom, extensive deck with a gas barbecue, living room with river rock fireplace, satellite television and breathtaking views into Glacier National Park.  Sitting atop a hill overlooking the Lodge, each cottage provides a relaxing environment, perfect to share with another couple or for families looking for that "little something extra".

Sun Cabin

Honeymooners love the recently remodeled Sun Cabin because it is quaint and secluded. It features a large deck, living room, with satellite TV, full kitchen and loft-style room with a queen bed.

Guest House

Located near the West Lodge, the Guest House accommodations offer two bedrooms each with one queen bed, a living room, kitchenette, satellite TV, air-conditioning and a sleeper sofa. The Guest Lodge at St. Mary’s is perfect for families and larger groups that want to stay together.

East Lodge

10 lodge-styled guestrooms give the East Lodge a private feel. Each guestroom in this single story building features one or two queen beds, air conditioning, TV, a desk and chair. Contact National Park Reservations today for more information on this intimate little lodge.

Tipis

Tipis are under construction they are the newest addition to Saint Mary's Lodge and Resort.
Completion of Tipis will be in June of 2008.

Tipis are 27ft tall, about 700sq. ft including the bath house, cedar wood floors, Cloud Nine queen bed, queen sofabed, flatscreen TV, fire pit, table and chairs and a private bathhouse with jacuzzi tub.
