Badlands Ranch & Resort

 

The Badlands Ranch & Resort is situated on 236 lush acres of the 1000 acres available for guest exploration, including the White River, prairie lands and a small part of the Badlands. These 1000 acres are just part of the over 2.2 million acre Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. This gorgeous Badlands getaway is owned and operated by the Oglala Sioux Tribe. Sweeping views into the Badlands and beautiful vistas every way you look surround the Badlands Ranch & Resort. The resort is just 8 miles to the Interior Entrance of Badlands National Park offering access to the wilderness areas of the park as well as the most celebrated overlooks. The Badlands Ranch & Resort is also 70 miles from Mount Rushmore.

 

The Badlands Ranch & Resort offer accommodations for parties as large as 50 persons (if all the available rooms, cabins and the main lodge are reserved together.) The resort features many activities for guests including bus tours, horseback rides, archery, swimming pool, playground and catch and release fishing from two stocked ponds. Guests will also enjoy the picnic area and pavilion (available for reservation) as well as the laundromat.

 

Badlands Ranch & Resort is very cozy and good for groups and large families. The view of the two stocked fishing lakes and the Badlands National Park from the lodge is outstanding.

Cabins

Badlands Ranch & Resort also has seven individual cabins available for rent. Cabin sizes vary, but all have the standard amenities listed above. The Family Cabin features a small fully furnished kitchen. Maid service is provided and pets are welcome with $50 pet deposit and adherence to the pet policy.

3 rooms - 4 beds Kitchenette (One queen, one double, Bunk Beds, and comfortable couch) This cabin has a fully equipped kitchen! Only 1.

2 rooms - 3 beds one double & Bunk Beds. Only 2.

1 room - 4 beds one double - one twin - Bunk Beds. Only 1.

1 room - 2 beds one double - one twin. Only 3.

 

Motel

The Badlands Ranch & Resort offer four comfortably furnished motel rooms nestled in a combination of shady apple and evergreen trees. A covered porch runs the length of these rooms with seating in front of each unit for guests to relax. Maid service is provided and pets are welcome with $50 pet deposit and adherence to the pet policy.

Lodge

The Main Lodge is a spacious three level cabin that can be rented in thirds or as a whole. The Main Lodge is situated among shady trees and features views into the Badlands from the porch. Each level has a private entrance with a door onto a small deck, private bathroom, satellite TV, central heating and air. This log-styled building was created with the purpose to house larger groups of visitors with the ability to sleep as many as 23 people.
